Welcome to PokéCheats' Official IRC Channel!

There are a few rules that you must follow when entering the IRC channel, it is moderated by the sites staff and an automatic bot that reactes to rule breakers so listen carefully! The rules here are commom rules and we shouldn't find the need to enforce them on anyone, however, we will if that's the necessary course of action to take. After all, we're all here to have fun and chat with eachother!

  • Do NOT spam, you will be kicked!
  • Do NOT use vulgar language towards someone, you will be kicked or possibly banned at the OPs descretion.
  • Do not flood or start arguments, you will be temporarily banned from BOTH chatrooms.
  • Do NOT advertise your forums or any other pokemon website. Posting links to youtube etc. is okay. Advertising channels is forbidden as well.
  • Do not Mini-Mod, if you see someone breaking the rules then PM an OP.
  • Do NOT ask for ROM links!
  • Do NOT argue with the OPs decision.
  • Do have fun chatting!
  •

If you have your own IRC client then you can find the details below:

    FAQs:

Who has authority in the channels? We have a bot that does the moderating stuff for us so if you're going to say anything inappropriate, prepare yourself to taste the wrath of PSN-Bot! However, if things do get out of hand for PSN-Bot to handle all alone, that's where the OPs jump in. OPs are the people who have the @ next to their names and they are normally super moderators and in addition to OPs, we have Half Ops. Half Ops are users with a % next to their names, they are normally moderators. What's the difference between @ and %'s? @ have more power. Finally, the people who have a ~ and & next to their names are the admins and they have full control of the channel.
