Using Cresselia in battle
Most Used Cresselia Set: The rest talk set is now officially yesterday’s news. These days cressilia are attempting to sweep with the substitude and calm mind set, yes this might seem unethical but it really isn’t. Cressilia can actually sweep, and you should never underestimate it just by looking at its special attacking stat, because after a few calm minds it will be what you call, “unstoppable”, not only that but 101 hp subs become really helpful to this beast, for blocking status, beating blissey 1 v 1 etc.
Usual Counters: Rest talk cress, if ever used, will be utterly walled by tyranytar and weavile to some extent. Sub cm cress is countered by phazers and fast physical sweepers that don’t take much damage from its attacks even after a cm whilst doing some respectable damage back.
Sets Used To Counter Its Counters: The sub cm cress set has been created to sweep teams and to effectively shut down all of the usual counters to the rest talk set. Sub cm cressilia is not countered by neither tyranytar nor weavile, since after a calm mind hp fighting will 2hko every version of tyranytar while he fails to score a ohko on cress even with stab cb crunch, and weavile will basically do less damage to cressilia while she scores a ohko with calm mind hp fighting, or heck even without a calm mind, hp fighting will still ohko weavile.
Cressilia Is Most Used On: Rest talk cressilia will be usually found on stall teams, while sub cm cressilia will be either on offensive teams or standard over used ones.
