Team Uber Invitational V2.0

Introduction

Welcome to the second version of the Official Team Uber Invitational Tournament. After the first Version being a success, I have decided to make a second one. The idea of the invitationals, is finding the some of the best and brightest battlers around.

I do not pick people from battling skill alone, a good attitude towards Team Uber, and battling in general are good ways to make yourself stand out above most others.

The Tournament Structure

There will be 5-7 rounds (like the last tournament), where there will be NO eliminations whatsoever. This is a points based tournament, so all players (I may take some out if there is constant inactivity) will be guaranteed 5-7 games. After all 7 rounds have been completed, a single elmination tournament will be held with the top 8 scorers.

This basically is chance for every player to battle more than once, even if they lose their subsequent battles. Each player will get points depending on whether they win, lose or draw. The points will be distributed as so:

3 Points for a Win
2 Points each for a Draw
1 Point for a Loss
0 Points for a No Show

Battling Rules

Here are the rules you must abide to in battle. If you have a problem with any specific rule, or if you do not know what a specific rule is, pm me and I can tell you.

Evasion Clause
OHKO Clause
Species Clause
No Ubers
No Hax Items
Freeze Clause (on shoddy)
Latias is Usable

Additional Rules:

If a self-ko move is used during the last turn and both pokemon faint, then it is a draw.
On shoddy, please save the logs for reference if there are any discrepencies.
Please try and complete your matches as promptly as possible, the sooner we get this done, the sooner we get a winner.

Prizes

First Prize

100,000 points.
A spot in the Hall Of Fame.

Second Prize

50,000 points.
A spot in the Hall Of Fame.

Third Prize

25,000 points.
A spot in the Hall Of Fame

I am hoping to get some banners as other prizes, but they will have to wait.

Participants will be listed within the next post, plus the match-ups once I do them. Remember to those who I have chosen good luck and have fun! Please do not flame if I haven't picked you out to participate within this tournament. Thanks.

I would suggest that a Tie be 2 points, instead of 1. If you tie a match, you should get more than if you lose the match :P

Yes.

Also, if you're doing Shoddy. Draw's that would be draw in wifi aren't draws in Shoddy or is it the other way?

Yeh I kinda did that last time. Yeh i agree 2 points.

Shoddy Draws (I consider draws), when there is a self ko move done on the last turn that knocks both the pokes out and both parties have no pokes left.

What about if you killed your opponents last Pokemon, then would have died to Life Orb, or SS/Hail?

Should I skip the Self-KO thing? For simplicities sake. I guess LO/SS/Hail damage would count....hmm

EDIT: just waiting on Battlulz, Zeus and Blaze, then we are set to go

on Wifi if you kill the last poke and hail status or orb would have killed you it doesn't matttter because the act of attacking happens first and once the opponent's helth is zero all other game functions come to an end and you are declared the winner. I think we should go with that. Only explosion and destiny bond count it as both dying the same time.
