Wormadam-G

Well nothing much to say about this complete dud of a Pokemon. Wormadam-G's stats are the exact opposite of Wormadams, and its movepool is super bad. So bad that even the Grass counterpart has Stealth Rock and for some reason the Ground variant doesn’t, very strange if you ask me.

The best move this Pokemon has is probably Rock Blast, which pretty much sums up how bad this Pokemon is. Never use her unless as a joke and your trying to get some laughs.

The Only Usable Set@ Leftovers / Chesto Berry
Ability: Anticipation
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 Def
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpA)

- Earthquake
- Rock Blast
- Toxic
- Rest / Protect

Chesto Berry should be used in conjunction with Rest as it may survive a hit as you toxic them and then you can Rest off lost damage.

If your using Leftovers use Protect as your choice in the fourth slot as it stalls for Leftover recovery and also Toxic damage to your opponent.

Use Earthquake in the first slot for STAB and Rock Blast in the second for the ever-so-deadly Rock/Ground type combination which is resisted by none.

This is Wormadam-Gs only chance in survival. Maybe if your lucky with this set you can Toxic one of there Pokemon. Even that is not guaranteed.

Other Options:

The worst movepool ever to exist. It has Rain Dance which you can attempt to use on a Rain Dance team although it is highly not recommended. You can try to run a CB set with Earthquake, Rock Blast and Return although there is no fourth move really which also adds to the sadness of this Pokemon.

Counters:

Frankly, it would be easier to list what couldn’t counter Wormadam-G. Any Steel or Poison types don’t get affected by Toxic which is basically Wormadam-Gs whole strategy and more often or not the Steel or Poison Pokemon can quite convincingly out speed and 2HKO or even OHKO. Don’t be too worried about its Earthquake; coming off a terrible Attack stat there’s nothing really to worry about.

Wormadam-G has such bad Special Defense and is really slow. It is also it is weak to Fire, Ice and Water, 3 of the most common Special Attacks in the game. use these flaws to your advantage

All-in-all you can basically Just send in anything to counter Wormadam-G, you don’t even need to use your brains. If you get swept by one, quit Pokemon and throw your computer into a bath.
