~Night Slash

Choice Band Slaking is an extremely dominating threat in UU, with the ability to OHKO much of the tier. Walls like Milotic, Uxie, and Claydol are OHKOed by Giga Impact. Night Slash OHKOs Rotom and Earthquake does over 70% to Rhyperior and Registeel. Anything less durable doesn't stand a chance. Speaking of durability, Slaking is also tremendously bulky, its 150/100 defence putting it ahead of Skarmory and Forretress in physical defences. This combination of massive power and defence leaves causes many teams to have trouble doing enough damage to Slaking during its loafing turn to avoid being OHKOed the next by Giga Impact. Users of Swords Dance such as Toxicroak are usually slower than Slaking so they will get KOed before they can attack if they use Swords Dance and if they attack, it usually won't KO(slaking can survive a Toxicroak's LO Cross Chop). Either way, Slaking wins. Dragon Dancers like Altaria can not KO Slaking even after a Dragon dance and are easily met with a Giga Impact and death. Slaking, however is not without problems. It requires a lot of prediction to use, and a mistimed attack easily gives up free turns. Also, fast users of substitute like Mismagius are very troublesome for Slaking because they can set up with ease. Additionally, Giga Impact leaves Slaking unable to switch and allows pokemon like Blaziken to Superpower Slaking to death. All in all, Slaking is an extrememly potent threat in UU despite occasional problems.

~Ice Punch
~Earthquake
~Thunderpunch
~Night Slash

Slaking can be used to revenge kill certain threats instead of abusing its raw power in the Choice Band set. Ice Punch KOs dragons. Earthquake for Empoleon,Tyranitar, Metagross, and Lucario. Thunderpunch for Gyarados. Night Slash for Gengar and Rotom that think they can wall Slaking's other attacks. Slaking's impressive bulk allows it last much longer than other scarved revenge killers like Infernape and hold off the opponent's sweepers until they fall. Scarf-Slaking may be an effective revenge killer, but it is quite easily walled because it doesn't have the raw wall-breaking power of the Choice Band set.

~Encore
~Counter
~Taunt / Punishment

Slaking's defences are massive and often underestimated. This set tries to make use of that great 150/100 defence and wall. Threatening sweepers like Dragon Dance Gyarados will find themselves unable to KO slaking before being met with a counter and death. For example, an Adamant Gyarados with leftovers will never be able to 3HKO slaking even after a Dragon Dance. This gives plenty of time for Slaking to use counter. If Gyarados tries to set up with Dragon Dance, Encore quickly forces it to switch out. Agility Metagross is another pokemon Slaking can easily counter. It too, will always fail to 3HKO Slaking with Meteor Mash even if it has a Life Orb attached so Slaking can use Counter or Encore as appropriate. This Slaking is, however, not as practical as the Choice Band set because it can easily be shut down by Taunt and prediction. Also, Slaking's normal typing does not suit it well when trying to wall physical attacks because it is weak to the ever-present fighting type attacks.

This is not a full analysis but just a moveset analysis. I find that skaking is probably at its best a late game sweeper when you've dealt with slakings counters.

Thanks for contributing though.

Giga Impact probably shouldn't be mentioned, despite having a few uses, like KOing a few walls, because unlike other moves when combined with the Traunt ability, Giga Impact doesn't allow you to switch out, meaning that hugely dominating threats like Mismagius don't just get one turn of setup, but two (the turn after you use Giga Impact, then the turn that you're forced to switch out). Thus, Giga Impact is a rather gimmicky option on a rather gimmicky Pokemon.

Eevee, firstly, if giga impact does not affect the target, slaking CAN switch out. Secondly, with the proper team support(ex registeel), sweepers like mismagius are still unable to sweep. Also, KOing these walls is very important, because it is the difference between getting exploded on and not(claydol) , getting thunder-waved or not(lead-uxie), and Milotic can easily recover off the damage if it is not OHKOed first. For these reasons, I think giga-impact is a very viable and important move in slaking's moveset.

Id say giga impact would be a decent move due to slakings ability "traunt"

This analysis does not follow the correct analysis format, and this section of the forums is only used as a reference. I"m going to go ahead and lock this for now, but if you do decide to finish this up, make sure to use this thread http://teamuber.net/forum/showthread.php?t=8280. Just so you can get a proper idea of how the format should be. And make sure to post the analysis in this section http://teamuber.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=142 when you think you're done.

Edit: Same goes for your Jirachi and Ninjask moveset analysis.
