This Pokemon is Dusclops, the Beacon Pokemon. Some information:

Pokemon: Dusclops
Type: Ghost
Ability: Pressure
Base Stat Total: 40 HP / 70 Atk / 130 Def / 60 SpA / 130 SpD / 25 Spe

Why Dusclops, you might ask, and why not Duskonir instead? The main reason to use Dusclops over Duskonir is linked to an item called the Evolution Stone, which boosts the defense and special defense of pre-evolved Pokemon by 50%. Thus, when Duskonir holds the Evolution Stone, its overall defensive Stats are better than Duskonir. To give a picture of this, Dusclops defense and special defense stats, without boosting natures or defensive EVs, both exceed 400 each when Dusclops is holding the Evolution Stone. This means that it can take quite a few hits, and can even sweep given the right conditions.

Life is not all good for Dusclops. A very low base HP stat means that Dusclops can't take too many powerful hits. Dusclops can take some hits, but repeated powerful hits will bring it down. Dusclops does have some recovery moves like Pain Split and Rest, but wishes to have a move like Recover in its arsenal. Also, Dusclops' attack and special attack stats aren't too great, so Dusclops won't be damaging too many Pokemon for great amounts of damage. Dusclops also doesn't get Leftovers recovery, because of Dusclops holding the Evolution Stone.

Most Common Set:
Dusclops isn't used much right now, but its most used set (and probably best set) would be the Trick Room Supporter set. It would tend to have moves like Trick Room, Will-o-Wisp, Pain Split, Earthquake, and Shadow Punch.

Now, for the movesets:

Trick Room Supporter
Dusclops w/ Evolution Stone
Ability: Pressure
Relaxed/Sassy nature
EVs: 252 HP, 252 SpD, 4 Def (0 speed IVs)
-Trick Room
-Pain Split
-Will-o-Wisp
-Earthquake/Shadow Punch/Seismic Toss

Analysis:
Because of its good defensive stats, which consist of 284 HP, 445 defense, and 591 special defense, Dusclops can take quite a few hits and easily set up Trick Room. By a "few hits," consider this: A Choice Specs Timid Latios' Draco Meteor, one of the strongest special attacks out there, only deals 48.6 - 57.4% damage to Dusclops, meaning that Dusclops can use Trick Room, then use Pain Split to recover its health. Yes, it is indeed that bulky. Dusclops will also almost outspeed everything under Trick Room conditions because of its low speed of 49. Well, the first slot obviously belongs to Trick Room, since Trick Room is the purpose of this set. The second slot should have Pain Split because, since Dusclops outspeeds a lot of Pokemon under Trick Room, Dusclops can use that to heal itself. The third slot should be used for Will-o-Wisp to cripple the many physical attackers out there. The last slot could be a multitude of options; however Dusclops will be helpless against certain foes no matter which move it picks. Earthquake is arguably one of Dusclops' best options, since it hits many Pokemon super-effectively in general and because it is stronger than Shadow Punch. Earthquake also hits Heatran, who absorbs Will-o-wisp, for major damage, that is if Heatran doesn't have a balloon. Shadow Punch is an option over Earthquake, since the Dusclops can hit the likes of Starmie, Gengar, and Rankurusu harder than earthquake would. Seismic Toss is also an option here. Since Dusclops' attack isn't that great, Seismic Toss always deals consistent damage, which can help in some battles.

The EVs and nature aren't hard to figure out here. 252 HP EVs are required for this set, as Dusclops needs all of the HP that it can get. There are also 252 EVs put into special defense, along with a Sassy nature, to increase Dusclops' special bulk, since Dusclops has Will-o-wisp to cripple physical attackers.

Counters:
The Trick Room Supporter is hard to counter in a sense, as Dusclops can use Trick Room while the opponent switches in a Taunter, meaning that Dusclops has a good chance of fulfilling its purpose of setting up Trick Room. However, a few Pokemon can wall Dusclops fairly easily. If Dusclops is running Earthquake and Will-o-Wisp. then balloon Heatran becomes a good counter, only taking damage from Pain Split. Chansey and Blissey also can counter Dusclops fairly well, since they can shrug off the Burns from Will-o-Wisp because of Natural Cure, and they don't take much damage from Dusclops' other attacking options. Some physical walls like Skarmory and Hippwodon can switch into Dusclops and phaze Dusclops away, but they don't like being burned by Will-o-Wisp. Poison Heal Gliscor can wall Dusclops, since Poison Heal Gliscor can't be burned because of its Toxic Orb. When countering this Dusclops set, keep in mind that it can't hit most foes for big amounts of damage, but that it can set up trick room fairly well. Also, watch out for guts Pokemon like Conkeldurr and Heracross that might try to absorb Will-o-Wisp, as even though they may not be able to hurt Dusclops, they could hurt other members of the team. This Dusclops is also crippled by Burn and Poison.

Very Bulky CM Sweeper
Dusclops w/ Evolution Stone
Ability: Pressure
Bold nature
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 4 SpA
-Calm Mind
-Rest/Pain Split
-Shadow Ball
-Hidden Power Fighting

Summary:
If your opponent doesn't have a phazer, taunter, or strong specially defensive Pokemon left, then this Dusclops can really shine. The moves on this set are fairly obvious, really. Calm Mind is the only choice for the first slot, allowing Dusclops to boost its special attack and special defense to high levels. Rest is preferred for the second slot, as it allows Dusclops to recover from status conditions like being poisoned or burned. Pain Split can be used so that Dusclops doesn't fall asleep for a few turns; however if Dusclops is burned or poisoned, then it will not sweep for very long. Shadow Ball is Dusclops best special move, and obviously should be used here. Hidden Power Fighting rounds off the coverage, and allows Dusclops to hit Pokemon like Tyranitar and ferrothorn for super-effective damage.

Again, the EVs and nature are not hard to figure out here. Since this is a Calm Mind Sweeper set, Max HP and Defense EVs are preferred, along with a Bold nature.

Counters:
The Bulky CM Sweeper set has some definite counters. Chansey and Blissey can switch into Dusclops and wall it, but they can't do much to stop Dusclops from setting up. Like other bulky set up sweepers, Dusclops can be Taunted and phazed out of battle by Pokemon like Skarmory, Hippwodon, Gyarados, and others. Some physically based Steel Pokemon like Metagross and Lucario can switch into most of Dusclops' moves and boost their stats to hit it hard.

Other Options:
-Dusclops does get the elemental punches, which can help in some situations. Ice Punch can combat most Dragon Pokemon, as well as Gliscor. Fire Punch can help against foes like Scizor and Ferrothorn. Thunderpunch can combat Gyarados mainly, but not too much else.
-Toxic can be an option instead of Will-o-Wisp for most of Dusclops' movesets. It can work against walls like Porygon2 and Hippwodon, both of which don't mind being burned too much.
-In terms of other special moves, Ice Beam, Psychic, and Charge Beam are available, however they are inferior to the combination of Shadow Ball and Hidden Power Fighting on the CM Sweeper set.
-Night Shade can be used instead of Seismic Toss for the Trick Room Sweeper set. However, Night Shade doesn't hit Normal-typed Pokemon and Seismic Toss doesn't hit Ghost-typed Pokemon.
-Disable is an interesting move for Dusclops, given that disable now has 100% accuracy, however Dusclops usually doesn't have room for it on its sets.
-Confuse Ray can be used on some Dusclops sets, however again, there is usually not room for it on Dusclops' sets.

Possible Teammates:
Most Steel-types Pokemon have resistances to Ghost and Dark attacks, so they can be considered to be good teammates. Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Heatran, and Skarmory are decent teammates. For a defensive teammate, Chansey works well, since Chansey can wall special attackers while Dusclops can wall physical attackers. Chansey also resists Ghost-typed attacks while Dusclops resists Fighting-typed attacks. For the Trick Room set, Porygon2 can be a very good teammate. Porygon2 is immune to Ghost attacks while Dusclops is immune to Fighting attacks, and they both can do well under Trick Room. Obviously, Trick Room Sweepers, like Enboar, all need the Trick Room support that Dusclops can provide, so they can be possible teammates as well. For the CM Sweeper, Fighting Pokemon can work well with Dusclops, since Chansey, Blissey, and other special walls are weak to physical Fighting attacks. Pokemon like Conkeldurr, Blaziken, Breloom, and Infernape all can do this job well. Also, Magic Mirror Espeon can work well with Dusclops. Even though Dusclops and espeon share similar weaknesses, Espeon can reflect back the taunts and phazing that can really hurt Dusclops.

Opinion:
Dusclops has emerged as the superior option to Duskonir this generation because of the introduction of the Evolution Stone. Dusclops is like Shuckle in a way, because both have high defenses, yet all of their other stats are not that great. dusclops may not be the most used Pokemon, but it can have a place on Trick Room teams, and it can counter various Pokemon like Conkeldurr, Blaziken, and Scizor fairly well. Don't underestimate Dusclops' capabilities, as it can take quite a few hits.

Just a thought, but can't you just use Dusclops as normal wall? With great deffensive stats he can take quite some hits and pain split works as a good recovery move with his low hp.
I'd imagine a set simular to the trick room set, only replacing trick room with another attacking move. Also, perhaps listen shadow sneak as an option on the trick room set and the one i proposed, since priority is always helpful.

Actually Trick Room in gen 5 is by far more effective since a lot of the Pokemon people centralize around hit blindingly fast speeds (example: Exadrill), but yea, a complete physical wall set could be made.

Duskonir is better than Dusclops in terms of being a normal wall with Leftovers. The only reason to use Dusclops over Duskonir is the Evolution Stone.

Also, I'm not finished with this analysis yet. I may add in a Gravity set to this, since Dusclops can set up Gravity, then hit foes with more-accurate Dynamicpunches

Ok everyone, I'm finished with the "initial product". I may add in some more sets though. Any thoughts?

Not worth it. Other options mention, maybe, but Gravity is gimmicky at the very best, and just plain awful at worst, and more importantly, Dusclops shouldn't ever be running Dynamicpunch. Ever. EVER. If you're using it, you should be using Dusknoir.

Continuing, Night Shade and Seismic Toss are the main moves that deserve to be slashed -- Earthquake is basically useless in Wifi, since Shandera is borderline nonexistent, and Shadow Punch really isn't hitting anything very hard.

A standard Spinblocker set totally deserves a mention, and probably to be the first set listed. The ability to beat all the common rapid spinners (other than like, Dory) is really huge. Rest / Will O Wisp / SToss / Night Shade or something like that probably. Maybe Shadow Punch slashed in that set for hitting Starmie.

Random sentences like "now for the movesets" are useless, unprofessional seeming, and out of place.

Spell Dusknoir right, and mention the reasons why you'd use dusclops instead a lot more on each set, and support them with damage calculations. Use Cherubi's calc or Slipperjean's calc, as those are the two most accurate ones for gen 5, but preferably Cherubi's, as it gives KO percentages.
