Lack of this topic is highly disturbing. Shame on you!

http://www.mspaintadventures.com/

Go here, read it (or watch it? I dunno), and enjoy it.
I think other people here can explain this plot (WARNING: RIDICULOUSLY CONFUSING) better than me.

Jailbreak and Problem Sleuth are pretty short. You can finish Jailbreak maybe in two or three days and Problem Sleuth in a week. Now Bard Quest only takes 5 minutes because it was never finished.

My favorite music was the one that played at the end of Act 6 Intermission 1. I think it was called Infinity Mechanism.

Homestuck is a pretty good anime. Eh, fights carapaces and demons and doesn't afraid of anything.
No, I kid. Homestuck is a pretty good webcomic with quite a bit of detail. I'd recommend it.

I have to totally agree with you on this. Fighting demons is a staple for the anime.

Demon fighting rules. It is also a great web comic. I have read it/watched it.
I don't get it. xD

I personally haven't seen MS Paint Adventures, but I have seen something just like it by a Touhou fan. I think that kind of thing is pretty interesting, especially when the creators have good ideas.

So recently a kickstarter was created for a Homestuck Adventure game. Please help contribute! It has been funded, but more support will be added if it keeps up.

It's money regardless. They also earned enough for linux and mac support, as well as other stretcheladder levels.

And so the kickstarter is over. Andrew Hussie raised 2.4 million dollars for this game, which is fantastic. The game should be out by 2014.

I've heard of the anime but I've never got the chance to watch it because it doesn't seem like a good anime.

Brosky, it isn't anime. Hence why this isn't in the anime section.

Anime is media too. And if you would think about it, anime's definition is animation. And there is much animation in Homestuck. Therefore, Homestuck is an anime. It's a great one too, you just have to be patient with it.

Anime isn't just animation, anime is Japanese animation, so technically, Homestuck is not anime at all.

Also is it just me, or has the quality of the in-between flash game parts pages degraded in quality? Like Bec Noir popping up in a bubble and John randomly fighting, it just seems lame.

See, you all interpret it in the stereotypical idea that anime only equals japanese animation. If you were to translate anime anywhere, it would translate to animation. You simply need to think more broadly of the term.
Also not all of it is in flash. There's only so much you can do with the .gif format since it's limited to 256 colors.
Also John isn't randomly fighting. If you checked the recent update, you'd know it said John was angered at Bec Noir for killing his dad. There's always a reason for every situation in Homestuck.

In the end calling Homestuck an anime is not practical, such as recommending it to somebody. You can say it has animated scenes, but if you call it anime, people are going to have the wrong picture in their mind.

Also, when I mean random, it just seemed out of place and pretty much at the wrong time. Hussie also could have fitted in more content instead of just some fighting going on. It's like Hussie was so rushed with the Kickstarter and all that, he just ran out of time and just slapped in some odd and less developed pages.

I've recommended Homestuck as an anime several times to people and they loved it. They told me it was one of the best animes they've ever seen.
Also, did you think Hussie truly cares about us that much to put that much detail in? There wasn't much left to say though. John was ****** off at everything, being on a ship for almost 3 years, and said everything he was mad about. Then sleep, then rage-induced battle after recognizing Jack when he fled to a dream bubble to get away from a hostile Peregrine Mendicant. That's how these occurrences usually happen. Random chance encounter, battle of ridiculousness.
Don't expect that much out of Hussie, it's better off if you don't. He has reasons, he has the story all played out. He just has to take the time to execute it.

Takes at least two reads to actually understand it.

Also, the wiki can help you understand it better also.

Other than the Alphas reaching God Tier.
But I'm worried about Jake... a lot.
