It varies a lot for me. It depends on how much I care about the natures in my team, what I breed, etc. Nowadays, it takes me 30-50 hours to beat the game. I normally fight every trainer I see and get experience that way and go on my way until I beat the Elite Four.
In a brand new game, I talk to every single NPC, read every strip of information, fight every single trainer and wild Pokemon I face, beat the Elite Four, and continue doing that until I've completed as much of the after-game as I can find. That still takes about 30-50 hours.

9 days for Pikmin 1, 8 days for Pikmin 2.

Eleven minutes, at most.

That's POKEMON not PIKMIN. XD it takes me about five good hours if I hurry and trade Pokemon from my other games that are over leveled. Which is unfair. XD

I'll leave it at a good Ten hours when I play the game, and enjoy it to the fullest limitation possible. After all, playing a game defeats the purpose if you don't take time to appreciate it.

Thats just me.

Shouldn't this be in the Pokemon Discussion section? Anyway, it usually takes around a week or so for me to beat a Pokemon game depending on how lengthy the game is. If it's like HeartGold and SoulSilver and we're talking both Kanto and Johto, well then probably around two to three weeks. I for whatever reason take forever sometimes to complete any game for that matter because I try to battle every trainer and not miss any items, not one. At any rate, yes, I'm very slow! xD

I'm not sure, but I do like to take my time going through the games, regardless if it's new or not, to enjoy the experience. So, it varies.

It generally takes a week. Victory road takes a really long time if it's confusing, like really confusing. I always struggled with Victory Roads.

It depends. If I want to play the game all the time then in about 3 or 4 days. If I get bored it might take my forever.

It depends, how I complete a Pokemon Game, I mostly slack off and play only 1hr-3hrs. If, I am bored, I'll play much longer. As for now I completed Pkmn Platinum at least 2 Months (Champion 2 times). Grinding Levels take my time longer in other pokemon games until Pokemon Black and White, Audino instant killing spree. :P

Two weeks. I don't play the game all day.

I have actually done runs where I tried doing it as quickly as possible, and I got through Pokemon Blue in 11 hours. Most of the time I just try to catch rubbish Pokemon and become as good as I can with those, which can take anything from 40-150 hours.

In most games, it takes me a week if I'm playing constantly. Which includes grinding and trying to plan out my team.

Depending on how long it is and how much time I get it could take about a few weeks because I restart and replay my games over and over again plus the fact that I know about all there is to know about Pokemon.

It usually takes me about 20-30 hours to beat it... It just depends how often I play it...

It takes me a little over three months just because I like taking my time and training. Or get INSANELY ANNOYED WHEN A GYM LEADER USES A FULL HEAL!!!!

Do you mean Full Restore? Full Heal heals poison, sleep and those kind of things.

It usually takes me about 5 days to beat it. However it took me about 3 days for Black and White. It doesn't seem as long as the other games. The other games you got to complete all these other missions and stuff like that but Pokemon Black and White was very straight forward and there were only a couple of eras where you needed to backtrack to get to another area. In Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum there was a lot of back tracking out of that. Pokemon Black and White had little distractions. Black and White has the best story between the 2 generations however I think I had a longer amount of fun with 4 gen. I hope in Black and White 2 they won't make the story so short.

It takes me about a week, week and a half, if I'm talking to everyone and level grinding a lot. Otherwise I takes me slightly less than a week.

It depends. If I'm doing a playthrough of a game, it usually takes me 100+ hours across like 5-8 months. But if I'm just playing a game normally, it would take me 30-50+ hours across two weeks.

Tuxy
12-02-2012, 03:25 PM
Depends on how much time I have to play and when I feel like playing. If I'm fast, I'm done with the main story in 2 weeks, when I'm not, like I'm currently with Black 2, it can take me 2 months. Aftergame stuff, Pokédex completion and all of that stuff obviously takes even longer...

Clairvoya
12-02-2012, 04:36 PM
Depends. If its the first time, I usually do it in a week or two. However, sometimes I like to take my time and relax and it can take up to a month or two.

12-03-2012, 11:15 PM
Well, it depends how much I'm into it. I was into Black 1 for some reason and I beat it in about 2 days. Platinum I was kind of into it, so I beat it in 2 weeks. I took about 3 years to beat my Yellow because I lost it.... Don't worry, I found it :D

It used to take me forever when I first started playing. Now that I know more about how Pokemon works, it takes a few days to 2 weeks.

About a year or a month when I'm not too serious about it. But when I actually get cracking I can beat B/W in about 12 hours.

Edit: I've never beat a Pikmin game.

My fastest time is about 2-3 days.
My slowest time is a month.
I usually speed through the newer games, then take my time on my second run.

It usually takes 3 weeks for me to beat a Pokemon game, mostly because when I get a new game, I play the crap outta it. Plus I love Pogeymanz so I play it more.

Dabottle

. ~1 month

So... about one and a half to four and a half days?
(I'm taking the range of ~1 month to be .5-1.5 months.)

Pokemon73

maybe a month or two depends on how long the game can be (or annoying)

Bricktoad
12-11-2012, 10:02 PM
Exactly 20-40 hours, depending on how long the storyline is. That's how long it takes anyone to complete the main storyline. I dont know exactly HOW you manage to fit in 1 month of playing time throughout the storyline.

About a week to a month but if I just started the game over, it is about a month.
