as you may already know, google translate only does direct translations. It doesnt do anything with grammar. When you tried to talk to someone, or were just fooling around with friends, what was the funniest translation you ever seen?

I remember telling a friend "screw you" in japanese, But it turned out like this: "I want to screw you"

What about you guys?

I found one. "Puedo lamer" means "Can I lick it?" in Spanish, but when you try to translate it from Spanish to English, it says "I can lick?" xD I don't know why I find it so funny.

I honestly don't know of any good ones. I shall edit this when I find one.

THEN Y U POST THEN.

Anyway, in English to German I post I am hot. It's actually "Es geht mir heiss" however German translator had to say "Ich bin heiß." It means something totally different..don't ask.

Umm... "I am hot" is "Ich bin heiß" in German... "Es geht mir heiss" means nothing, but if it would, it would mean "I'm feeling hot".

Oh wait, you did mean "I'm (feeling) hot" You're right then... *stupid me*

None of these seem to work anymore, but it's still funny to see how much Google Translate used to fail and still does.

I am fairly certain he goes for Japanese. Also it's Mandarin not Chinese.

I don't remember the exact phrase, but it's something in Tagalog... and if you put it in Google Translate and translate it back to English, it comes out as "Batman" or "Pikachu." I can't remember the exact thing. >_<

I agree with this statement. Plus the link, eh.
Some are really funny. Especially the pokemon one.

I'll edit this later if I find a funny Google Translate which I think it's a fail.

Whenever I use Google Translate for any Japanese sites or games, it's always really hard to understand the..."English" that's displayed. Nothing I see is that funny, but "Gensokyou" seems to translate as "becoming it" or whenever characters shriek and onomatopoeia is displayed, it's directly translated to stuff like "Noodles!?".
"Luke, I am your father."
"SHREDDED TOMATOS!?"

When I translate "fail" into German, the result is "scheitern", but when I translate "epic fail", the result is... "epic Fail".

Well, I tried to make it sing the Barney song in Japanese... it didn't work.
