I have never heard of any of these before but since I am who I am I had to go do some research on both and my final conclusion is that Dairy of a wimpy kid wins, mainly because Greg is so cool and badass looking on the cover.
I will have to read them both before making a final judgement though.

Well, I've never read the Big Nate books, nor do I have any interest in reading them. I have read all of the Diary Of A Wimpy Kid books, so this opinion does not count whatsoever, but even if I HAD read Big Nate, I think Diary Of A Wimpy Kid would still be my choice.

I would say DOAWK, only because I have no clue what Big Nate is.

However, I was never fond of DOAWK in the first place because the series is like the Captain Underpants of this generation. The books are fantastic if you were in say the 4th grade, but now that I'm older, I never really read it anymore.

This is a horrible comparison, but I think Diary of a Wimpy Kid is much better simply because I've never even heard of Big Nate before.

I have all of the DOAWK books! Except the light blue one. I will probably ask fro it for christmas. I will look into "big nate" though!
