Closed indefinitely. The loss of Muffin makes it less likely to ever be reopened.

Crappy backstory courtesy of me and Cheese:

1634 K.D.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was a prosperous time in the kingdom of Skarmoria. Rule was enforced and agriculture was influenced under the reign of King Eyandrat III, heir of King Eyandrat II, respectively. King Eyandrat had adopted an isolationism policy. Because of this, the citizens of Skarmoria lived in happiness and regret was almost non-existent, although some were not happy with Eyandrat’s rule.. Money was easy to come across, so everyone lived in peace. Although there was crime, which was very rare, Eyan's most loyal and brave knights fended off injustice in the spick of the moment with elegant grace. The Kingdom of Skarmoria became renowned for its marvellous libraries and universities. Due to the lack of conflict, the citizens were able to study and hone their combat skills without fear of attack.

1636 K.D.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What had once been a peaceful land dove into a chaotic world of cruel warfare. Who was thought to be Eyan's most trusted vassal, Animia's own Lord Nicholas, turned against his Majesty. On a dark and cold night, Lord Nicholas sneaked into Eyan's quarters, drew his blade, and slew the sleeping Eyandrat ruthlessly. Upon learning of this, Lord Zachary of Pokea grabbed his lance and, along with General Xpl and the Royal Knights, led an assault on Castle Animia. After a brutal battle that lasted several weeks, Nick’s forces were finally defeated. Zachary charged towards Nick and his remaining few knights and easily overwhelmed them. Flooded with hatred, he drove his lance straight into Nick’s heart.

King Eyandrat had been avenged, but conditions were only going to worsen. Queen Kyoushiro, heartbroken and on the verge of insanity, stole a vial containing a very powerful toxin, which had been reserved for a prisoner, and consumed it. With both King and Queen dead, there was no blood heir to the throne of Skarmoria. In addition, General Xpl spread false rumours that Lord Zachary was the one who had slain Eyandrat, and that he had done so to seize the throne. This was seen as blasphemy at first, but doubt then turned to wonder. As a result, Lord Zach was forced to flee the country along with his most trusted companion, Garthcune. His plan having succeeded and the country falling into chaos, General Xpl fled back to England in order to avoid suspicion and "return to a more civilised land".

Court Jester Xero D. Ragon quickly saw the danger in staying in Skarmoria and fled to a faraway kingdom. The remaining leaders of Skarmoria’s military; Commander Tainers, Colonel Cheesai, Head of Intelligence Red, Field Agent SMJ and Mage General Ozzie; tried to recreate a sense of order, but the situation was hopeless. After months of failure, they too were forced to flee the country and journeyed beyond the Outer in pursuit of justice.

1636.5 K.D.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With almost the entire Royalant party gone, Skarmoria was left in ruin and poverty. The entire country was divided. The question of who should claim the throne was, of course, on everybody’s minds. The remnants of the Royal Knights were split as well. Two main factions appeared out of the chaos, composed of the desperate population. One faction had the intent to seize the throne for themselves, believing that it was the fastest route to prosperity and security. They became commonly known as Eyandrat III’s True Knights and were led by a former knight, Sir Muffin, who wasn't particularly fond of the title that had been bestowed upon them, preferring their other title, the Nighthawk Faction. The other faction still believed that Lord Zachary was alive and wanted to prioritize finding him, so he could take the throne. They became known as The Amirian Knights and were led by a wealthy merchant named Sonrio, who admired Zach greatly, and a former captain named Yuki, who had much experience on the battlefield and was renowned for his courage, determination and skill.

There were of course other groups. Some opposed both of the main factions while others simply wanted to rule Skarmoria themselves. A few of these stood out. One group was led by a famous artist who had been a great fan of Sir D. Ragon’s work. She was called Emily and she was a peerless swordfighter, known for her ruthlessness and desire to kill. Her army was known as the Nova Warriors. Another was led by a scholar named Pengy, who was an expert practitioner of wind magic. In previous times he had spent most of his time studying and playing games of strategy with his comrades. He had never been very impressed by Eyan’s rule and was quite willing to seize the opportunity given to him by Eyan’s death and the disappearance of his most loyal vassals. He and his friends formed a small group and named it the Pengy Brigade.

Civil war broke out across the land. Thousands of arrows flew across the sky. Thousands of swords stay pierced through thousands of bodies. Moans of pain and regret can be heard even in the Outer. What was once a peaceful land dove into a chaotic world of cruel warfare. The once beautiful and calm grass was now stained with blood. The once deep blue sky was now a dark and gloomy grey. The people, too distracted by warfare, sadly did not notice.

Rules and Guidelines:
1. No god modding and all of that general RP stuff. Self-explanatory. We want to have fun here.
2. Use proper grammar. If you don’t, it will be difficult to understand what’s happening. If you keep posting like Skitty, I’m going to have to kick you out.
3. Post decent-sized updates. Don’t post one sentence. That’s not good enough. We need description. One sentence is utter rubbish and will not be tolerated.
4. You may have up to two characters.
5. For now if any of the staff actually want to participate in this travesty (lol), they cannot be themselves and will have to create a character. Anybody else can, of course, base their characters off themselves. This may change at a later date. We’ll have to see how the RP goes.

Form:

Name:
Age:
Gender:
Alignment:
Personality:
Appearance:
Background:
Weapon(s) and Magic:

Name: Your character’s name.
Age: Your age. A whole number.
Gender: Your character’s gender. Either male or female, unless you’re Cheese.
Alignment: Your character’s alignment. You can be a part of one of the four starting factions or neutral. If you go neutral, you can always align yourself with other people at a later point. You may change sides mid-RP, but there must be decent reasons and build-up given.
Personality: Describe your character’s personality. More than three words are required, kids. In fact, at least four or five sentences are.
Appearance: Describe your character’s appearance. Same rules as above apply.
Background: Describe your background. I’ll leave the length up to you, but the more information you provide the better. If you don’t provide enough, I’ll tell you to edit it.
Weapon(s) and Magic: Describe what weapons your character is capable of wielding. If your character can use magic, describe that as well. Don’t go overboard with “capable of reviving people” or any crap like that, try to keep it simple and fair enough.

Oh god what am I doing?

Name: Sir Flubbington

Age: 21

Alignment: A neutral wanderer who likes a good fight

Personality: Friendly, yet somewhat intimidating. Gets along with most everyone he speaks to and can get a bit competitive. Likes to act before thinking and can be stubborn at times.

Appearance: Has short black hair and is around 5'11. Light green eyes and wears no kind of armor. Instead, he wears a black t-shirt with dark pants. Always carries five pendants around his neck, each with a special property.

Background: From a quiet, faraway place called Lala Land, Sir Flubbington found his way to Skarmoria after hearing about some kind of war going on. He thought it would be a great place to practice his fighting. Before this, he spent his days with his friends and family learning about magic and how to be a proficient fighter. He also was a bartender for quite some time.

Weapon(s) and Magic: Very proficient in frost and dark magic. Other than that, he has some skill with lightning. but not much. Can use his speed and fight up close with his fists if needed. Hates any kind of fire or light.

Snow

Name: Yuki

Age: 33

Gender: Male

Alignment: [Joint] Leader of the Amirian faction.

Personality: Calm and collecting, Yuki is very dependable, and is trusted by all. Years of looking after his sister has lead him to be very protective of people he love's, and he would do anything to help out his men, regarding them as equals, and siblings. He will always do his best to help his army, with one exception - his sister. His sister is and always will be his number one priority.

Appearance: Yuki is about 5.8, and is pretty athletic. He has short, dark brown hair and Dark Blue eye's. He has a small but noticeable scar running down his face, which he has not let his sister heal, as it was a mark ''given'' to him by the man who killed his parents. He has a light tan, and wear's his dad's old [but light] steel armor into battle. His skin is very rough, after year's in battle.

Weapon: Lance. Extremely fast and precise with this weapon, he can pierce or slash thank's to the custom built blade running along the edge, he is also trained enough to use it as a shield. He usually charges up to distract foes, while Jade stay's back and shoot's.Although proficient in blocking, it's still a lance, so he relies on Jade's healing magic to back him up if anything happens. The wind element is what guide's her arrow's. He also has A small element of Ice implemented into his Lance, but it's channeled by anger. If Yuki gets angry enough, his lance will start to glow white, and will freeze anything it touches.

Name: Jade

Age: 33

Gender: Female

Alignment: Second in command of the Amirian army.

Personality: Very much like her twin brother Yuki, but is generally a little more shy than him. She is also loved by everyone, [Not in that way!], and is very protective of her older brother. In fact once, Jade had only just accepted the girl - and Yuki was ready to marry her! Unfortunately, the woman in question [Jennifer] was killed by a group of thieves, which is one of the reasons Yuki is so protective.

Appearance: Again, Yuki is very like her brother. The only differences are that her Hair is shoulder length and purple, and her skin is very smooth and blemish-free, thank's to the constant healing magic pulsing through her. Again, she has a light tan, and favors her custom made leather armor in battle. [It's very strong armor, but still light enough for her to run fast and aim her bow with, although it's slightly susceptible to piercing attacks.] It's also notably died Purple, the color of her hair.

Weapon: Wind magic. Generally Jade favors sitting back and using the wind to guide arrows to her target's. Can use her wind magic to heal aswell - her current best is healing broken limb's or minor slashes. Has a major Achilles heal when it come's to fire - Trying to control or heal it will just make it several time's worse.

Background [Both] :Yuki and Jade grew up in the slums of Skarmonia, because of one man - The bandit Riordan. Riordan killed both of the twins parents when they were but 6 years old, forcing them into the slums of the kingdom. The twins barely escaped with their lives, because Riordan had attacked them aswell. It was Yuki who, using his small size, managed to skim round Riordan and stab him in the back - though not before suffering from an attack of Riordan's. At the age of 18, Yuki managed to get a spot in the Royal knights, thanks to his uncle who was already in them. He fought for 7 long years, working to keep both him and his sister safe and with food. At 25, Yuki had a near-death experience, which triggered Jade's wind abilities. Jade then joined the Royal knights aswell, and both siblings quickly rose in rank thanks to their deadly combos, ending in captain, which was when all hell broke loose in Skarmonia.

Name: Miyuki

Age: 13

Gender: Can switch at will, but is base female.

Alignment: Artist (Happens to be leader of the Nova Warriors, lol)

Personality: Peppy, Confident, Way too happy at times, good perseverance. Tends to not think before leaping in a situation. She is also well known for loving to fight sometimes, depending on the situation. When she gets sad, angry, or upset, she tends to leap into an argument with said person, or proceed to isolate herself away from others completely.

Appearance: she wears a blue and white outfit with blue polka dots and stripes covering the blue areas. She has long light green hair, with two dog-like ears sprouting from the top of her head, dark green eyes, and a green tail.

Background: Moved to Skarmoria to make a living as an artist. Fell in love with D. Ragon and his work, and remained, hoping to meet him one day. She lived in a small shack in the woods on the island of Jezebel peacefully, making a living by shipping her artwork to a distant village. When she heard the news of Eyan's death, she decided to try and take the throne herself, believing she could make a difference among the people alone.

Weapon(s) and Magic: Caliburn- a sword she found laying around Nick's palace a week after he was killed. It has a gold, silver, bronze, and ruby handle, and some magic powers. Like the rod of remorse, it only weighs as much as the sins of its victims.

Hmm... while it's true both Nova and Sonrio need a little more information, you should cut them a little slack. After all, I DID have two characters who I could write about, and back each other up. What I would also suggest is that everyone give them self some sort of Achilles heel, so as not to god-mode it, and make it a little more interesting. For example, both my characters weakness are each other - they can't bear to lose each other. Plus, Jade has a severe weakness to fire. Maybe post a little about where you character grew up, and what led them to join/hate the royal knights. Is there any influences? Also notice that I didn't make my wind mage capable of creating cyclones or reviving people. - In other words, leave some room for improvment. Create something that your character will be able to work on throughout the role play.

The thing is, Snow, "usually wears armor in battle" isn't exactly a very good description. That's like saying "usually wears suits to meetings".

Snow
11-01-2012, 03:26 AM
True, that. Maybe he just uses whatever armor is given to him on the day? However, I agree and say that you should also improve your Weapon section. Like, what sort of tactics can you use and how. What magic can you use and how does it aid you in battle?

11-01-2012, 11:24 PM
Name: Leona
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Alignment: Nighthawk Faction
Personality: Leona is a very quiet girl. She argues for what she believes is right and does not back down easiy. Leona is serious about battle and is a great author. Sometimes, Leona tends to eat a lot.
Appearance: Leona has shoulder-length maroon hair. She wears a black robe over a silver robe streaked with blood. She wears a silver hoop on her left ear and has light brown eyes. She has a slightly tan skin tone and a bow with a quiver of arrows on her back.
Background: Orphaned at the age of five, Leona joined the Amirian Faction almost right away and trained herself on how to use a bow and arrow. After nine years, she joined the Nighthawk Faction, betraying Sonrio. (Yup.) She now is expert on healing herbs currently, and is not afraid to sacrifice herself if it means to help win the battle. Leona wants to seize control in Skarmoria, though, and return peace to the land.
Weapon(s) and Magic: Shining Light- a golden bow with a silver quiver of arrows. Leona has had it since the age of eight and learned how to hunt and fight with it. She also is skillful with the Shining Burst, a golden sword with a bejewled hilt. Leona prefers the Shining Light, but uses whatever she thinks will win the battle.

So much for taking an RP break, but if Pengy is starting it, I just have to. Lalala^___^

This seems interesting...I'll probably join every now and again, if I don't quickly lose interest
Name: Long
Age: Unknown, looks to be about late teens to early twenties
Gender: Presumably Male, but unknown
Alignment: Neutral, helps all sides, usually when there's benefit for him
Personality: Serious, calm. Not really the talkative type.
Appearance: Wears a long dark blue cloak. Under it, it is presumed to be a 18th century martial arts uniform. Long always has a jian on him on all times. He wears a dark hood at all times, such that his face, sans his lower jaw, is not visible. However, when he powers up, it is said that you could see his eyes glow blue.
Background: Not much is known about Long, especially because he doesn't really speak. However, when he does, it's usually important, and it is worth your life to listen to his advice. He seems to know a lot about society's inner workings, especially when it comes to the former council of Skarmoria. Could he be related to Xero D. Ragon?
Weapon(s) and Magic: A master swordsman, trained in both Shaolin and Wudang martial arts, Long carries a jian, presumably called the Sword of Five Elements, around his belt at all times. As such, Long is also a master martial artist, and an equally powerful storm mage. Although having strong conviction in honor, Long is not above using underhanded tactics, especially if the job requires it. Challenge to a duel, however, Long will discard all underhanded tactics, and fight fairly, with honor. If you lose, but fight well, it is said he will spare your life with a warning "Do NOT try and challenge me again".

This is the first time I've tempted myself into joining a roleplay. You should feel very proud.

Name: William Butchert II

Age: 36

Gender: Male

Alignment: The Amirian Knights

Personality: William is a man with a good heart but that usually isn't very clear to many people he meet. When around other people he has a tendency to be a rather big jerk to them, this is both because he dislikes being questioned and feels as if whatever he says is the truth and partially because he is a loner who lives with himself in the highlands of Scotland. He's a very laid back, relaxed man who wants nothing more than to just live a peaceful life in the highlands in Scotland where his cottage is located. He enjoys being alone since he believes other people complicate his life. He can be rather gullible, and is easily manipulated due to his poor social skills. He's a very quiet man who doesn't like to speak much and has a strong hatred for England because he wants his independence from them. He is a believer in justice and if something is not right, he feels the need to set it right.

Appearance: William is a rather tall and bulky man with long ginger hair that goes past his shoulders. He is physically very strong due to him defending his land and hunting animals for dinner. Despite being very experienced in battle he has awful armour protection. He does not wear armour that can guarantee a safe ending in a battle, he'd much rather wear a plain looking shirt(mainly coloured black or white) and of course proudly wear his kilt. He wears huge brown boots that nearly go up to his knees. Due to his poor choice in protective clothing, many bruises, cuts and stab marks on his body from his lack of proper armour. He keeps his long, sharp sword on a case attached to his back in the event he will need it.

Background: William is mainly just a regular man who's lived quite the regular life. He was raised to be a strong, fine man by his parents and left them when he was 16. He is completely lacking in magical abilities since he was raised to believe real men fight in hand to hand combat or in swordplay. He was taught how to fight with a sword from 9 years old and had a highly trained mentor who taught for many years, the mentor recently threw away his life in the great battle against Lord Zachary and Lord Nicholas. After hearing of the death of his mentor, William began research on the huge battle of the Skarmorian Empire and eventually grew a huge interest in Lord Zachary, wanting to learn of his techniques in battle and believed that Zachary should be the one currently ruling Skarmoria. His hatred for English people quickly made him draw to the conclusion that General XpL was up to trouble and could cause another disaster. He eventually left Scotland and moved to the remains Skarmoria, being completely disgusted at the remains of what used to be a great empire. He eventually met up with a merchant named Sonrio who told him he was the leader of the Amirian faction. William, without a second thought, immediately asked to join, believing he could be of big help and finally meet the man who slew Lord Nicholas.

Weapon(s) and Magic: William carries around a large, sharp and dangerous sword that was a gift to him from his mentor a few years before his passing. William is very well trained with it and can deal powerful swings and can use it very well defensively. He tends to clean it in his free time to assure it doesn't become rusty and is usually presented in a clean fashion during battle. William is also a great in hand to hand combat, who can hit a really hard punch and counter and block very well. William has no experience in using magic whatsoever.

That was probably awful, but that's what I get for not joining a roleplay in years and lacking imagination during this time of night.

That was actually completely unintentional xD

But yeah I got the "William" from our based lord of centuries ago William Wallace so that's how I most likely messed up there.

Name: Daniel Grimm
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Alignment: Neutral

Personality: He is cold and often tries to distance from others. He is knowledgeable on various subjects and loves to learn new things. He is incredibly fond of reading especially if it’s ancient text on the usage of magic. For the most part, he is serious about almost everything he does. When around others he tends to stay quiet unless he feels he has something important to say. Despite this, he can be very short-tempered when annoyed. He also tends to keep a blank expression on his face.

Appearance: He stands at around 5'3 and his body is a light build. His hair is white in the front and becomes grey the further down it goes. His hair goes down to the middle of his back. His eyes are light violet and his skin is a dark olive shade. He wears leather armor with a variety of belts used to hold his many knives and daggers. He usually conceals himself in a black cloak to hide his face.

Background: Daniel was raised in a small village near a trade district in Skarmoria. His parents were merchants so they would go there often to sell their wares. Whenever he was there, he made sure to check out the local library. He was fascinated by the large array of books they offered. However, none peaked his interest more than the ancient text on magic. He learned various techniques and spells from these books. He was greatly intrigued with relationship between the dark and light elements. After a while, he began to put most of his focus on those two elements. When he was twelve, he lost his father to disease. His mother’s body was frail so he was stuck taking care of her. She was bedridden most of time and died two months later. From that point on, he was stuck raising himself. He lost his home and was forced to live on the streets and alleys of the trade district. There, he met a girl by the name of Alison. She was a thief and was very skilled in the art of pick pocketing. She also collected daggers and knives from which she stole from various merchants. The two became good friends, although, Daniel didn’t really agree with her way of living. For five years, she taught him various techniques for using daggers and knives as weapons. On the sixth year of their companionship the district was attacked and burned to the ground by a group of raiders the size of a small army. Alison died as result and that left Daniel truly alone. The last words she uttered were an incomplete “I love you”. A few months later, the war began.

Weapon(s) and Magic: He is very proficient in the use of both dark and light magic and can combine their usage in battle. While he is knowledgeable in the elements wind, ice, lightning and earth, he can’t utilize them as well. He tends to attack long range when using any form of magic. When he wants to get up close and personal, he’ll use the variety of knives and daggers he conceals in his cloak to attack.

Name: Johnny Clarke
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Alignment: Neutral

Personality: Johnny is a loud and energetic person both on and off the field. Has great charisma and is able to use his words to get out of tough situations. Often seen smiling. He has a bad habit of being cocky and making his opponents angry at him. Loves a good fight, and only gives up when he knows that his body is unable to fight. Spirit of a champion (hardly gives up). Quick on his feet, and his head.

Appearance: 5'7'' and only 120 pounds. Not the biggest person on the battle field, but makes up for it with great speed and agility. Dark hair that goes down to the middle of the neck. Brown eyes and tan skin. Does not wear much armor in battle, only wears a leather breastplate, a sky blue shirt, navy blue pants, brown boots and gloves. Claims that anything else would "slow me down". Often seen in a blue headband worn around his head, about a foot long of leftover lace.

Background: Johnny Clarke was born in the triumphant land of Agem, a land of rich plains and great architecture. During a war with another country, the king sent any healthy man to battle, which meant that his dad left his farming life to fight for Agem, and ended up dying in the front lines. Furious, Johnny assembled a two-year plan to assassinate the king, and he succeeds by grabbing his fathers knives, and stabbing him in his sleep. Using his persuasion skills, he tricks the 11 year-old heir to the throne to not give him the death penalty, but banish him from Agem instead, leaving with his father's twin daggers and the clothes on his back. During his banishment, he moved to a city called Enoemos, and worked for a blacksmith after not being able to afford to fix one of his father's daggers during his time in the woods. There, the blacksmith, who was also a retied knight, trained him in how to use his daggers for combat. Proving his worth to the blacksmith after a duel, he moves to Skarmoria during the time of crisis and starts a new life as a bounty hunter and a free agent for any team that is willing to take him, fighting for what he believes is right.

Weapons: Johnny uses his custom made twin daggers in battle. He is physically unable to wield anything heavier than a standard sword, but he makes up for his lack of strength by his superior speed and agility. Johnny is able to use his quick speed to his advantage over his opponents by dodging their slower attacks, fooling them with his cat-like agility, and attacking them swiftly with a swing of his daggers. Can also attack from a distance and throw them as well.

Seems worthy to roleplay in.

Name: Aethel the Lesser

Age: 42 years of age

Gender: Male

Alignment: Aethel is currently in a neutral position, but is slighty inclined towards the Pengy Brigade.

Personality: As a man that was taken advantaged by his illegitimate father in his early years, Aethel has a very dark and dreary personality. He is scornful of the people around him and criticizes many details of a person. He can be reserved in some moments, but in a fury in a second, reflecting his bipolar personality. In the end, sort of a loner that is out of touch with society.

Appearance: Aethel's appearance is like Jaffar from FE7 except with dark wraps covering his entire body. He has a haunting mask created from the bones of a Lancastrian Hydra to hide his emotions, which are never truly revealed to anyone. To the normal pleb's eyes, he looks scrawny, and weak, which he uses to his advantage. He is also of normal height for a man of his age. and also has a ring of thorns adorned on his head. His shroud is as dark as the night, keeping him hidden at night to most pleb's eyes.

Background: As a young man living in the Kingdom of Ibaegan, a northern wasteland, he was abandoned by his father, Edmund VII, King of Ibaegan due to his weakness. Left to fend by himself in the cold, Aethel wandered the land, trying to bare the cold winterlands while plotting revenge against his father. Living in a cave in the outskirts of the Kingdom, Aethel trained himself in the arts of Corruption Magic and Assassination. Terrorizing town after town for practice, Aethel later put his plan into practice. In 1627 K.D., Edmund was involved in a violent war with the neighboring Kingdom of Aloacia in which he was on the superior side. After a merry night of drinking, Edmund stopped to rest in a nearby tavern with his Loyal Guardsmen securing the front. Just a few days ago, Aethel promised the King of Aloacia the death of King Edmund VII in return for protection. He later put his plot to action using a mix of all the skills he obtained over time. Using a reality marble, Aethel melted all the guards into dark matter without anybody from the outside noticing such an occurrence, he entered the tavern without opposition and stabbed the old man through the heart during his slumber. All seemed well until the King of Aloacia broke his side of the deal and put out a high bounty on Aethel's head. Broken and betrayed, Aethel fled to the far away Kingdom of Skarmoria to avoid death and live an unsure life in a new world. As of now, he is still honing his skills in the dark arts, and watches on as all of Skarmoria is thrown into chaos.

Weapon(s) and Magic: Aethel has both mastery of the Dark Arts and Assassination. Wearing minimal protection on the outside, Aethel relies on speed and stealth to eliminate his enemies. Incredibly disadvantaged direct combat, Aethel is most effective in reconnosaince and assassination. He uses a special type of Corruption Magic which can influence enemies' minds and can also corrode others into dark matter. Using the Stiletto of Fear, he assassinates his targets swiftly and soundly. He also has a second blade named The Blade of Baldor which is directly connected to his lifeline. If the Blade is destroyed, so is Aethel, which is why he never uses it in combat. It was a trade-off he made with an ancient Dark God, if he accepted the blade as a risk and crutch, his power in the Dark Arts would increase tenfold. His victims have been numbered in the thousands, and many more shall fall by his hand.

Somehow missed this.

Name: Ice.

Age: 18.

Gender: Male.

Alignment: Technically aligned with the Pengy Brigade, though he is somewhat independent.

Personality: Ice is a loner. He tries to distance himself from others and the only person in the Brigade that he fully trusts is Pengy himself. Because of this trust, he is willing to respect Pengy's decisions, and to an extent, follow his orders despite being such a solitary person. He associates himself with the Brigade because of this trust as well, but mainly because its goals and interests line up with his. Although he is normally incredibly reserved, he is ruthless in combat and does not mind testing his strength against others.

Appearance: Stands about 5'8" tall with short black hair and dark brown eyes. Tends to have a bored and tired expression. He usually wears black pants and a white shirt under a black jacket. He generally does not wear any armor unless he really feels threatened, and even then wears very light armor so that he still has some agility. He keeps his sword in a scabbard that is slung over his back.

Background: When he was young, he blindly believed that Eyandrat was a perfect ruler. As soon as he was able to, he began to train to become a knight, and started to become a decent swordfighter, hoping to become one of Eyandrat's trusted companions. However, he eventually started to dig too deep, and discover secrets that were meant to be kept within said group of companions. Those loyal to Eyandrat began to distrust Ice. Now dissatisfied with the rule anyway, Ice deserted. Now understanding the viewpoint of the man named Pengy that he had met a few years back, he began to train in the magical arts just like him. He wandered, training himself in the ways of both blade and spell, and when the kingdom fell into ruin, Ice sought out Pengy and joined his group.

Weapons and Magic: Ice is proficient at both swordplay and certain magic. He began to practice the former from a young age, and uses a sword as his primary weapon. His sword is named Dyrnwyn, after the legendary sword, because of how it can be used with his fighting style. He generally fights one-handed, but is able to wield two swords at once as well, though he rarely does this. Ironically, Ice specializes in a type of fire magic known as Phoenix magic. Like the name suggests, it can create powerful flames, which is the aspect that he spent the most time honing his skills with. He is now able to fuse the fire with his sword and generate devastating attacks. The other features of this style of magic are also useful in combat. Users of the magic can give themselves a decent speed boost as well as generate fiery wings for a period of time. Additionally, being based off of a phoenix, the user will have some basic healing and regeneration capabilities. However, preferring to go all out, this skill has hardly been developed and isn't very useful against stronger foes whose attacks can deal damage faster than the slow, undeveloped skill can recover it. Though, with what could lie ahead due to this chaos, he realizes that he may have to put more effort into rounding out his abilities.

X!!
11-03-2012, 05:53 PM
Name: X. Not his real name, though.

Age: 13

Gender: Male

Alignment: Neutral. X does not trust too many people, and is not trustworthy himself. Switches to whichever side serves an advantage to him.

Personality: X is a selfish person. He trusts no one but himself. He does not have any friends, and has trouble with making friends. He often uses people's generosity to his advantage. Prefers stealth and speed over strength.

Appearance: Five-foot tall male with somewhat tan-ish skin. Has black hair and a scarred left eye, the right eye being black in color. Wears a worn out, black cloak with a hood attached to it, which he wraps around his body. Wears a black garment and brown pants underneath the cloak. He also does not wear shoes, just to make him run faster.

Background: X was raised in Asia to be a ninja. His parents had brought him to Europe then abandoned him when he was 10, due to them not wanting a child anymore. Two years later, he was injured in a horrible accident, where a horse kicked his head so hard, specifically his left eye. The accident was so severe that X lost his memory about his life. A loving couple who had no children found X in the streets, unconscious. They took X to their home and treated his injuries. X finally woke up in their house. After 3 hours of talking, X thanked the couple and left. He then continued living on his own, going by the name "X", since he forgot his real name.

Weapon(s) and Magic: X has the power to manipulate fire and lightning. He can shoot the two elements from his body (specifically, hands, feet, and mouth). X also wields a light-weighted, sharp-edged, sword made out of silver and brings with him a good amount of smoke bombs.

X, can you add a bit to that please?

Will probably edit this tomorrow; running out of time.

Name: Ados “Pengy” Pengerson.
Age: 19.
Gender: Male.
Alignment: Leader of the Pengy Brigade.
Personality: Pengy is very intelligent and quick-thinking and he has no qualms with speaking his mind. However, he can be quite rash at times as well. He is quite determined and makes sure to finish what he starts. He is very reserved and quiet and tends to not show much emotion, but does care for those around him.
Appearance: Pengy has dark green eyes and dark blonde hair that reaches to the bottom of his neck and falls in his eyes at the front. He typically wears a dark purple tunic and dark grey trousers, with black armour protecting his shoulders, chest and legs. He wears long, black boots. He typically carries a brown, leather bag around and has a sheath for a small shortsword, as well as quiver attacked to his belt. He carries an iron-plated longbow made of oak with him.
He is not physically strong, but is very fit and agile.
Background: Ados was the son of a rich noble. He lived a pretty normal childhood, but preferred to spend his time studying and honing his magical abilities. When he was fourteen, he began to become dissatisfied with Eyandrat’s rule. While most of the populace were quite happy with their living conditions, Ados’ status allowed him to observe how corrupt some of the nobility were. His father often received extra money or other benefits such as land and luxurious food from Eyandrat. This disgusted him and he started stealing his father’s money and giving it to the peasantry. However, his father quickly noticed that his money was disappearing and had his soldiers wipe out one of the nearby villages as punishment. Ados was outraged at this and confronted his father about it. Their conversation didn’t last very long and he quickly cast his most powerful spell, killing him within seconds. Knowing that he probably wouldn’t survive if he stayed, he quickly grabbed his few possessions, as well as enough rations to last him a few weeks, and fled from the castle. However, the effects of the spell began to take their toll on him and by the time he had reached the other side of the country, he was exhausted and collapsed. A child found him and brought him back to his village, where the villagers looked after him until he had recovered. He decided to stay in that village and spent the few years leading up to the war studying in the town’s university. He also took on the alias “Pengy”, so as to protect himself.
Weapon(s) and Magic: Pengy is incredibly proficient with wind magic and can cast many powerful spells within seconds. However, this quickly tires him out, so he sticks to more basic spells, which are still quite devastating in his hands. He is also capable of wielding ice and lightning magic, but much prefers wind magic. He is also quite skilled and incredibly accurate with the bow. This allows him to also cast spells with extreme precision. He wields a longbow, which he assured was of the highest quality, but which lacks a name. He isn’t very proficient at melee combat but carries a small shortsword around in case he gets into trouble. He knows how to use it well enough to defend himself, but prefers to simply blow foes away.

Gender:I'm a guy
Alignment: This person joined the Nova warriors.
Personality: I'll be rarely obnoxious, but nothing quells my constant anger at the king. I have been at the emotional side before, only once. When my family died, was the unfortunate sorrow source. My partner's suicide leaves me bewildered at anyone like him who meet me.
Appearance: I'm 5' 0", with dark brown hair, which extends to the bottom of my neck. Green eyes and thick eyebrows. My hair is thick, double-crowned, I wear a dark jacket with striped shirt, in their grayest and blackest state. I'm wearing dark blue trousers.

Sir Muffin of Saucer
11-05-2012, 09:35 PM
Codename: (Sir) Muffin. His real name is a mystery to all but himself.

Age: 30.

Gender: Male.

Alignment: Leader of the Nighthawk faction.

Personality: Muffin is an extremely reserved sociopath, avoiding encounters with other human beings as often as possible. He is a man of few words, and usually speaks only to issue orders. He is cold and calculating, a sort of chessmaster. Few details of his personal life are known to the public and even to his own faction members. He is quick to craft beautifully woven lies when it suits him. Muffin is not trustworthy and will backstab even those who belong to his faction. He takes pleasure in suffering and fear. He has created an alternate personality, the one he shows to the public, a kind, honourable man whose reasons for wanting to seize the throne are entirely pure.

Appearance: Muffin is a tall man of 6'4", who wears a white musketeer hat sporting a grey feather at all times. He wears black trousers tucked into brown boots and on his chest, he wears a brown doublet underneath a beige formal jacket and bears a ruff around his neck. On his hands are white gloves. Muffin appears to be fairly thin and weak, but in reality, he possesses considerable physical strength due to his time as a knight.

Background: As a young child, he was dissatisfied with the way Skarmoria was run, and desired change. As he was growing up, he soon took matters into his own hands, gaining the power that might allow him to seize the throne. He was orphaned as a child after his parents were killed during a village siege and grew up under the care of his neglectful aunt, who was found dead several years after she first started taking care of him. After this, he was considered a cursed demon and was outcast from society. He travelled around Skarmoria from home to home, and his way with words allowed him to gather a small following of people who thought the same way about the rule of Skarmoria as he did. This was the beginning of what would eventually become the Nighthawk faction. While travelling, he gained popularity as he was acting like a benevolent, selfless person would, helping villages in need of his aid. He swore false allegiance to King Eyandrat and became a knight. He left this position a few weeks before the King's murder.

Weapon(s) and Magic: Muffin is capable of pyrokinesis, a trait he keeps hidden from the public. Muffin is also a very able swordmaster, as the sword was his preferred weapon during his time as a knight.

Name: Andrew
Age: 14
Gender: Male.
Alignment: Andrew is Neutral. He hates the armies, and is filled with anger.

Personality: Andrew doesn't give up easily, and he is very persistent. Hates to lose and mainly fights to protect, or for revenge. Andrew is also very short-tempered. If any of his friends are hurt, he goes in a rage. Enjoys being independent, but when in a group, always tries to be leader. Often stays focused on the task at hand, and doesn't get strayed off easily.

Appearance: Tall, with a well built body and strong structure. His skin is not very pale, nor tan at the same time. He has messy, short blonde hair and sea blue eyes. He often dresses in average day clothing, but when in battle, he always wears his crimson red steel armor, forged by his father, the best Blacksmith in his hometown He has a large scar on his back, from the day he fought his first battle, for which he was not prepared. He likes to hide the scar, since he considers it a dishonor to show that he was greatly injured.

Background: Andrew was raised in a small town, where food and water was limited. He was raised to fight by his instructor ever since he was nine, and has had to hunt for food and water since an earlier age. His father crafted special armor for him, knowing that he would someday have to fight. After the conflict in Skarmoria, his father went to war, even though he had little experience. His father was killed, and ever since Andrew learned that his father was dead, he has been filled with hatred and rage for all the armies, and he has dedicated himself to train as hard as he can and eventually avenge his death by ending the war. Andrew has much experience in battle, and is prepared to do what he needs to.

Weapon(s) and Magic: Urumi- This is a special sword that Andrew found after his father's death, in a special case in the storage room of the blacksmith shop. It was made from the purest silver, and the hilt was made from the finest fire rock. This certain fire rock was enchanted, granting the sword, and it's owner, with the power of fire. There was a note telling Andrew that his father had left it for him, knowing that he would discover it when the time was right. Andrew only uses his fire power as a last resort, or when the tables must be turned, knowing the destructive and catastrophic power of fire.

Name: Sunny.

Age: 20

Gender: Female

Alignment: Pengy Brigade lD Never any doubt~

Personality: Sunny is the gloomy cloud of the group, despite her name. She hates everyone that doesn't support her side, and a few that do. Eyan's death made her smile, but the lies that came after did anything but. She hates liars, with a fiery passion. If you lie to her, she will rip you apart (or at least try). She's very suspicious of others, and if you've had a history with her, you'll have almost no chance of getting her trust.

Appearance:
Shoulder length blonde hair with natural dark blonde highlights. She has slightly olive skin and grey-blue eyes. She often wears t-shirts with the color blue, and darker blue jeans. Trainers are her shoes of choice. She has a small nose, and a lot of freckles to the point where the bridge of her nose is almost brown. She has long legs and arms. She mainly wears her hair in a ponytail.

Background:
ireallyreallyhatethissection

She grew up with a family that supported Eyan, and for a time supported him. Then she learnt about bad stuffs and started supporting Pengy when everything went bad.

Weapon(s) and Magic:

A lightweight, mid-sized sword made of iron. On the hilt, there is a single small diamond. For this reason, she's named the sword Dia. She also has the ability to shoot fireballs half the size of her fist. She also uses bows, but prefers her sword over it.

Hey, you can start now! Applications are still welcome!

Pengy was sitting down in a small pub, finishing off a large cup of ale. He was in the middle of a discussion with the bartender.
"So, I heard that there have been skirmishes between the Nighthawk Faction and the Amirian Knights", said the bartender.
"Many?" Replied Pengy.
"Yeah. It seems to be getting worse. That's never good for us civilians. Things are just going to get more dangerous."
"I'm sorry to hear that. Even when there's peace, the nobility often exploit the peasantry. It's quite a shame, but there's nothing we can do. Anyway, I must be going now. I have matters to attend to." Pengy stood up and took a few coins out of his pocket. "Thank you, sir. You can keep the change."
"Thank you too, sir. I wish you luck out there."
"Indeed... Farewell."

Pengy walked out and headed around to the back of the building, where he got on to his horse and started riding towards the south of the town.

((I'm heading to the south of the town, where the university is located, for those in the Pengy Brigade.))

Sunny walked through the streets, head down. She passed a few people, and all of them received a dark glare when they tried to catch her attention. She kicked at the floor as she went, scuffing the dirty white trainers she wore often. Up ahead, she sighted a tall building. She walked slightly faster, hoping to see someone she recognized. As much as she liked the silence, there was work to be done, empires to be crushed.

Arthur (naturally after about three pints of real ale - the good stuff, not Fosters (or as civilised people call it, horse ****) - was strolling through the town of Dratsadshire towards the rather small university near the town's centre (in the south - don't ask), St. Dratsad's, whistling the tune to "Land of Hope and Glory", a well-known English anthem. Upon reaching the university, he circled round to the back and knocked on the wooden plank over the window near to the ground (which used to look into the wine cellar, but has now been repurposed as a sort of secret base for the Penguin Brigade). He heard footsteps, which eventually reached the window, and then whispered the secret password ("tigasinaye"),

Muffin sat on his throne, his hat tipped just enough so that it covered his eyes. He was deep in thought. One observing him who did not know his behavioural patterns might assume he was asleep. Certainly, he appeared to be lifeless. But not one member of the Nighthawk faction would make the mistake of assumption.

There was a sudden quadruple knock on the door. Muffin sighed with dissatisfaction. "It's a Thursday," he said. "On Thursday you must knock five times." After a brief pause, a quintuple knock echoed throughout Muffin's chamber. "You may enter," Muffin yelled.

A young man strolled into the room, approached Muffin, and stopped before him to bow. "Your Majesty, if I may-"
"Did you say 'Your Majesty' just now? Hmm? Do you see me on the throne of Skarmoria, ruling over all? No. You see me sitting on this pitiful silver excuse for a chair. What do you want?"
"One of our spies has caught word of a conspiracy among the Amirian Knights to launch an attack on one of our fortresses."
"Oh, really?" Muffin's pale mouth slowly twisted into a haunting grin. "Well, if they want to play games with us, we'll have to oblige, won't we?" Muffin's voice increased in tone as he got more excited. This was going to be fun. The foolish delusions of the Amirian Knights were to be crushed mercilessly.

Pengy had just arrived at St. Dratsad's and noticed a soldier standing outside.
"You there, attend to my horse," ordered Pengy, as he slid down to the ground. He quickly ran around to the back of the compound and knocked on the window. There was a prompt response from somebody inside, asking for the password. He responded by saying "Tigasinaye".

A few moments later, the door opened and Pengy quickly headed down the stairs and entered. Before closing the door, he looked up at the sky and noticed a thick blanket of dark clouds.
"It's getting late! Just avoided the rain!" He shouted, as he hung up his coat.. "The situation appears to be worsening, as well! We're running out of time! We'll need to come up with a plan quickly!" He turned to the soldier who had let him in. "Get me a cup of tea! Quickly!"

He then began walking towards the door to the meeting room at the back left of the main room, throwing his bag down on a table near the door as he entered.

Arthur, who was already sitting down at the table in the meeting room, noticed Pengy entering the room. "Evening." said Arthur, while raising a glass to water. He took a seat at the table and looked around, noticing that only Arthur was there.
"Nobody else is here yet? Damn! Anyway, the true fight seems to be beginning. I've heard reports of skirmishes between the Amirian Knights and the Nighthawk Faction occurring all over the country! We're going to need to come up with a plan soon!"

Roosevelt staggered across the almost-vacant bar. He enjoyed coming here when it was like this so he could have a chat with the bartender.

"Just hit me with two pints of the usual, mate" Roosevelt said in a gruff voice. Roosevelt rubbed his head and began to think about what he could do currently. He was pretty much stuck in this small town, and had nowhere to run in case of emergency. He picked up the chilled flask of warm liquid. "You know, mate. Did you know that beer has actually helped us more than it has harmed us?" Roosevelt asked the barkeeper. The barkeeper chuckled, and asked Roosevelt where he got this information from.

"Dad always said so, and I'll always believe it." Roosevelt said raising his flask to the sky. The barkeeper broke into tears from laughing.

"You should become the Court Jester whenever we get back on our feet." The barkeeper said with a smile. Roosevelt was shocked, the barkeeper wasn't taking him seriously. Why wouldn't he believe that beer saved us from destruction? Why is this such a shocking fact? Beer is just water, basically. No one drinks it to put them over the edge as far as Roosevelt knew.

"Haha... Thanks, I've been working on my act." Roosevelt replied with a fake smile. Roosevelt finished off his two flasks, and set off for a walk through the town. Roosevelt had rarely explored the capitol of Skarmoria, and wanted to take this opportunity to learn as much as he could about it.

Muffin paused for a moment, and then chuckled to himself. "Oh, think of all the blood that will be spilt!" A throaty laugh erupted from his mouth. "Time to start planning." Muffin clicked his fingers and was promptly handed a map by one of his servants. "We'll have 400 troops placed on this side of the fort.....100 archers positioned up there, and then...." In an instant, Muffin's behaviour had switched from 'eerily playful' to 'focused and serious'. He could have his fun when the time for battle came, but for now, he had to concentrate on the task at hand.

Yuki sighed, it had been a long and hard day. He was stuck organizing countless papers and documents, yet still having to deal with the search for Zach and the fight against Nighthawk. Luckily he had Jade to help him out - she never missed an opportunity to help him out. He looked to her now, as she sat organizing his army. ''Jade... you don't have to do this, you know.'' He sighed, as she smiled and continued the paperwork. ''As if'' She muttered.
Yuki smiled and said ''thanks'' under his breath, he really did appreciate what his sister was doing for him, but, his side of the work done, he started thinking. Someone had spread rumor that he was planning an attack on Nighthawk, and he was certain they would use the opportunity to attack, true or false. He jumped with a start as the phone rang. He reached for it quickly.
''Hello?''
''Hello, Mr.Carson. We have word that Sir.Zach has been spotted up North, crossing the border into Skarmoria. They may be far fetched, but even sti-''.
He was cut off as Yuki slammed the receiver and jumped up. ''Jade, we're going out.'' He said shortly, though not unkindly. His voice ringed with excitement as he walked out the door.

Andrew was sitting at an empty table in the town's small pub, slowly eating the chicken that lay in front of him.
The pub owner walked over to Andrew.
The owner happened to be friends with his dad and talked to Andrew every time he visited.
"Hey, the skirmishes between the armies haven't let up. In fact, they've been getting worse," The bar tender said to Andrew.
"Damnit!" He exclaimed as he pounded his fist on the table.
Andrew rose up from his seat and spoke indignantly to the owner, "I've been ignoring this for too long. Something needs to be done."
"Andrew, I hope you realize what you're doing here. You're fourteen, and you want to go against the strongest armies of Skarmoria by yourself?" The man protested.
"I've been practicing and training since I was nine. This moment was going to happen sometime, and now is the time." Davis snarled at the owner as he started to walk out of the door.
"Obviously, I can't stop you. Hear me out, though. Don't do something stupid, don't overestimate yourself, and be safe." The man said as a final statement.
Andrew walked outside into the cool, crisp air. He stared upward, and noticed dark clouds accumulating above.
"This is definitely the time," He muttered to himself, "I'll avenge you, father."

He downed his glass of water and paused for a few seconds. "I'd also like to assure that the conflict doesn't reach Dratsadshire. The people of this village have treated me well for years and I owe them my life." He stood up and looked out one of the windows. "It's beginning to rain. I hope everybody's alright. A few soldiers are still out scouting... Anyway, the plan! We're going to need to recruit soldiers. Money'll be an issue, but I hid a large sum at home before I left. If we can get there, we'll be set. We can also probably raid the armoury. As far as I know, the place has deteriorated and faded into obscurity. We shouldn't encounter much resistance..." "I'm afraid I really can't offer much support until we have some decent intelligence about what the hell is going on in this country. At the moment, all we really know is that the king's dead and that a number of groups have popped up, all vying for the crown. We don't know anything about the military strength, leaders, policies or general assets these groups control - just that they exist. We can't risk provoking the unknown, because there's a decent chance we'd be flattened and that's something I'd rather avoid, being a three-dimensional being." Explained Arthur.

"Password?" the man asked. Roosevelt understood the word, but had a dumbfounded look on his face. "Do you not understand the word, sir? This is a private university, only those accepted may enter."

Roosevelt turned around and stomped off, he was enraged at the knight. Who would privatize a place where scholars could go to learn more? Arrogant people, that's for sure. Those are the kind of people Roosevelt disliked, he hated those who refused to enlighten others on the new workings of the world. Roosevelt was enjoying the slowly fading sunlight of the town. A slow moving carriage was passing through the town, it proudly wore an emblem on both sides of the car. The coats of the horse was shining in the sunlight, the black reflected the light onto all passing pedestrians. "They won't be getting anywhere before the dawn of the next day." Roosevelt thought. Roosevelt began to do something that could end up terribly. He focused on the horse's face, and began to think only one command.

'Gotta go fast.'

The horse jerked to one side, and began violently kicking at the ground. Its thrashing broke it free from the reigns of the carriage, and it began to speed off. I immediately ran over to the carriage, which was now flat on the ground in an awkward position. The lone man driving the carriage couldn't believe what had just happened. His horse had just gotten up and ran away.

"So..." Roosevelt began his statement. "Do you need any help getting somewhere?"

The man in the carriage stared at Roosevelt's bald scalp for a second, not even commenting on his question. "Oh... Yes, I do. You see, I was on my way to that university in the southern portion of town to exterminate some pests they had." He said pointing to the south.

Roosevelt grinned at this, he had an opportunity to actually get inside the university now. He could see what they were talking about that was so important that they had to guard it with a password. "I'll be glad to help you, free of charged." Roosevelt said with a creepy smile.

All the while, on a cliff overlooking Skarmoria, a hooded figure gazes upon the desolate town as the winds howled and the sky grew dark. He turns away, and walks towards his steed, a wild black mustang. He gathers his belongings, and leads his horse to a small clearing in the surrounding forest, where he decides to make his encampment. Looking vainly for some firewood, the figure decides to draw his sword, a Chinese-styled Jian, and flowers it a few times, before dashing towards the nearest tree, slashing precisely and gracefully, before landing. Branches fall cleanly from the tree, and the hooded figure gathers them slightly, and arranges them into a pile, surrounds it with rocks, and lights it on fire. With the campfire now roaring, the hooded man walks towards his steed and dislodges his bag from the horse. He opens the bag, and pulls out what appears to be beef jerky, and, with his teeth, yanks a large chunk off of it, and chews it vigorously. All of a sudden, the hooded figure stops, and straightens up. He looks around cautiously, and draws his sword. He looks around more comprehensively, and decides it was naught but his imagination, and sits down under a large tree by the fire. He silently falls asleep, as the fire dwindles to ashes.

Roosevelt the 'exterminator' and his newly found comrade had finally made it to the stone structure. "So... we're cleaning all of this?" Roosevelt asked.

"Just the first floor, it's where they say the problem is." The real exterminator answered. "I'm no exterminator, but wouldn't you think that a full sweep is better than only doing one portion of a large building?" Roosevelt responded. The exterminator stopped, and smiled back at Roosevelt. "Sir, you might have just earned yourself a slice of the profit whether you like it or not. I'm going to be cleaning entire buildings from now on!"

Roosevelt's mouth grew wide, he would now be able to fully explore the university for all it held. The two approached the guard Roosevelt had ran into earlier today. "Heya, Tincan." Roosevelt joked. The guard didn't respond. "Password?" The guard asked with a stern voice. "Exterminator." Replied Roosevelt's comrade holding up a document sent from the leaders of the university. The guard moved from his post, and allowed us to enter into the prestigious educational center. This was the university where the wealthiest of the noblemen sent their young men to study. They wanted their children to live a luxurious life with the finest education available.

The floors were made of marble tile, something unavailable to most of the residents of Skarmoria. It smelled sort of like some sort of roasted meat in there. Some sort of turkey? Or a duck? Roosevelt wasn't sure. He was set on finding out what went on in here. "So.. Where do we go first?" Roosevelt asked. "Well, first, we need to find someone who knows what the heck is going on in here. It's like a ghost town." The exterminator said.

"Hello?!" The exterminator screamed desperately. "Is there anyone in here?!"

Andrew's feet crunched under the leaves as he walked to his home to grab his armor and weapons.
He arrived at his house, opened the door, grabbed his steel armor, the urumi, and some food for his trip.
Andrew walked over to the stables of the town and hopped on a horse, not caring whose it was.
With a motivating kick, the horse charged out of the town.
"I'll stop at the nearest town and find information there." Andrew thought to himself.

The night slowly carried on as he continued on his horse through Skarmoria.
Andrew was quickly tiring out and almost decided to rest for the night, when suddenly, he spotted a small town with people bustling about.
He stopped the horse just outside of the town and continued on foot for the next few meters.

When he arrived, he saw many small houses, a theatre, some small shops, and a group of Amirian Army soldiers prowling around the town.
Afraid of being caught, Andrew snuck around the buildings until he came just behind the group.
"Alright, I need to take out these soldiers, but I'll leave one and interrogate him so I can learn the whereabouts of the armies." He thought as he unsheathed the Urumi that was attached to his waist.

Arthur heard a bloke shouting out in the main room, and went to investigate. He looked round the corner and saw two gits standing there shouting.
"Are you the bleeding executioners? Because if you are, you're bleeding late, and if you waste one more bleeding second standing there I will be forced to bleeding kill you to death!" shouted Arthur angrily. "HURRY UP!"

Giovanni entered the first inn he saw. He then said to the innkeeper, "I would like to rent a room for the night. I can play quite well for it. This way I will not be pressured about fighting in any of the armies. After all, I am not a mercenary, I am a nobleman."

The innkeeper replied back, "Room 27 is available. I am sure you will find it to your liking."

Giovanni then said, "Thank you." He then headed to Room 27 of the inn.

Pengy had just arrived at the town centre. He found an area where he could leave his horse and began to walk around. He passed a few shops on the way to the square. A butcher, an armoury, a small pub, nothing particularly noteworthy. When he arrived at the square, he noticed that it was particularly busy. Many people were standing around and he could hear music. "Hey!" He called to a man leaving the square. "Can you tell me what's happening?"
"Some travelling performers arrived at the town recently, sir. They're currently playing music," replied the man.
"Ah, I see. Thank you," responded Pengy. "Seems like a great chance to get some information. I'll ask them when they're finished," he thought.

He glanced around and noticed an inn a few metres to his left. He walked inside and sat down at a small table. He noticed that it was bery well-maintained. The walls looked sturdy, it seemed quite clean and it was quite lavishly decorated. The furniture was made out of strong, sturdy wood, as well. After about a minute, a waiter came over.
"Can I get you anything, sir?" He asked.
"Meat, please. Whatever's available. I'll have a glass of orange juice as well."
"Is that all?"
"Yes, sir. Thank you."
As he waited, he noticed two men entering. "That went quite well! Let's grab something to eat before the next performance," exclaimed the first man.
"Sounds great! I'm absolutely starving!" Replied the other man in agreement.
"Quite fortunate indeed."

"Pardon me, sir. But we are not executioners we are exterminators from the magical pest subdivision." Responded the exterminator. "Excuse me for being late as well, I ran into some trouble with my method of transportation while crossing into the capitol."

"Now, since we're here. Where should we start?" Roosevelt asked the angry male across the hall. "Ah, I should add this one thing." Interjected the exterminator. "We'll do a full sweep of your precious university. But, I'll cut you a deal; we'll do this floor for full price, and the rest of them for half. Is that fine with you?"

As Daniel was wandering the town he began to notice how lively it was. “What’s with all the people around here? Ugh, they’re all so loud.” He began to make his way to the town square where it was even livelier than before. “What on Earth is going on here?” He thought to himself. He could hear music playing off in the distance. He noticed a large crowd gathering around the area he could hear the music at its loudest. He decided to stay away from that general area to avoid contact. "I didn't expect this place to be so loud. Although, this is a large town so I probably should have expected something like this."

"There's only one room that needs exterminating/cleaning/executing/what ever on earth you want to call it, mate. Through here, there'll be a door to your left leading to the larder, there's a bit of an ant problem in there. Rest of the floors aren't my problem, I don't own the place.
Tell you what, though, once you're done I'll buy you a drink." Offered Arthur, before walking back into the meeting room and sitting down at the table, staring angrily at the half-empty glass of water sat on the table opposite him,

Giovanni entered Room 27 of the inn. He looked around and thought, This room is quite suitable. I probably will not be disturbed here. Course I have to sometime go over to one of the finest universities in this land to teach others on how to use flintlock pistols and swords in combination with each other. Course I might want to rest first. I think I will do that.

Andrew slowly crept behind the soldier lying at the back of the party, unsheathed his sword, and drove it through the man's stomach as discreetly as possible.
He slowly set the man down, and the two other soldiers didn't seem to notice.
Andrew ran over to the soldier on the left and slit his throat as quickly as he could.
The other soldier noticed and slashed at Andrew's arm, leaving a noticeable cut.
Andrew grasped his arm, rushed over, and pushed the man against the wall and asked, "What do you know about the armies?"

Back in the forest, the hooded man decides to wake himself up. Stretching, he looks around, and puts out the remnants of his campfire. With his belongings gathered, he mounts his steed, and rides swiftly into town. Riding along the musty cobblestone roads, the hooded man decides to take a good look around his surroundings. Damaged homes and livelihoods strewn about the streets haphazardly, as children, wearing rags, beg him for food. Women come to the hooded man, offering themselves for money, but the hooded man takes no notice. He sees his destination in sight: an old, worn-out tavern, where gossip and rumor merge with hints of the truth. The hooded man dismounts and enters the near-empty tavern, taking little notice of the people already there. He takes a seat at the bar, and, in a gruff voice, with a slight Chinese accent, "A Skarmorian Ale, thanks"
The barkeep stares at the oddity in front of him, stunned, before responding "We don't serve that here. Not anymore, at least."
The barkeep's eyes widen as the hooded stranger raises his right hand, revealing an unseen object. The barkeep blinks a few times, and stammers "R-right away, sir, m-m-my apologies."

Giovanni was resting in Room 27 of the inn, when he remembered something. He thought to himself, I need to polish my sword before I use it again. So he grabbed his sword and some polish and began to polish it. He then thought, I must remember to stop by one of the universities to give my lecture about fighting with flintlock pistols and swords to the other sons of nobles.
