Here's my new pokemon team for Smogon Doubles for OU :excitement: This team took a lot of time, mostly due to school and tests and crap like that. But now school's out and I've worked up this team quite a bit.

How the team plays: This team is a combination of sand stall, sand bulk, and t. As you will see, 4 out of 6 pokemon are part rock/steel/ground. With sandstorm up, their special defense is raised a bit (0.5 in singles, and 0.33 in doubles) So it helps with their defense. This team also doesn't really have to run on sand, because each one of these pokemon are stall anyways. Trick Room, however, is an essential to this team, as each pokemon is made to be slow and bulky.

Tyranitar @ Lum Berry
Adamant Nature
252 HP/ 124 Atk/ 36 Def/ 96 SpD
Sand Stream
- Payback
- Surf
- Thunder Fang
- Low Kick
Tyranitar is out sandstorm summoner. Having sandstorm up is important, as it's crucial to the SpD of our pokemon. It has surf on it to aid Gastrodon, because Gastrodon has Storm Drain. This is also capable of weakening or taking out fire threats against Ferrothorn and Forretress. It's Lum Berry allows it to be swaggered by Cresselia then healed. The Lum Berry could also work for anything else.

Forretress @ Red Card
Gentle Nature
120 HP/ 138 Def/ 252 SpD
Overcoat
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic Spikes
- Stealth Rock
- Rest
Forretress is our hazard setter and hazard cleaner. It has toxic spikes and stealth rock, which means that pokemon coming it will be hit by at at least one of them. Also, if a pokemon manages to sneak with only Toxic Spikes on, then Ferrothorn can use gravity. With the Red Card, Forretress can force a switch out for the opponent, causing the next pokemon to take damage. It also has Rest to keep it's health up and stay alive.

Blissey @ Jaboca Berry
Relaxed Nature
136 Hp/ 252 Def/ 80 SpA/ 40 SpD
Healer
- Helping hand
- Heal Pulse
- HP Fighting
- Hyper Beam
Well, you might be thinking, "Why the f**k does Blissey have Hyper Beam and Hidden Power Fighting when it's suppose to be a F**king cleric?!?!" Well, this Blissey already has ways to heal/help others, like with it's Dream World ability of healer. The reason this pokemon has offensive moves is because it covers what the others don't. Hyper Beam puts a dent in most pokemon, and still gives Blissey the chance for it's Healer Ability to activate. Also, HP Fighting is for times when Tyranitar isn't chosen. Tyranitar is the only pokemon we have with a counter to normal type, so HP Fighting is needed.

Cresselia @ Sitrus Berry
Sassy Nature
220 HP/ 108 Def/ 180 SpA
Levitate
- Trick Room
- Swagger
- Ice Beam
- Psyshock
Cresselia is the star of the team. This is the pokemon that sets up Trick Room, making it the base. It can swagger Tyranitar, so that Tyranitar get's an increased attack. It could also swagger other pokemon that use SpA instead of Atk.

Gastrodon @ Leftovers
Calm Nature
138 HP/ 138 Def/ 120 Spe/ 112 SpD
Storm Drain
- Recover
- Clear Smog
- Scald
- Earthquake
Gastrodon is probably the most if not the 2nd most bulky pokemon of this team. With access to Recover, it can live for quite a long time. It's Scald can induce burn onto physical attackers, severely nerfing their attack so that Blissey or Ferrothorn can come out and set up. It also has Earthquake, which dents if not kills pokemon weak to it. It's ability Storm Drain draws in all water attacks, which lets Tyranitar use surf without the worry of damaging Gastrodon, and instead raising it's SpA for each time it's used. Clear smog is to keep down those setup pokemon.

Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helmet
Calm Nature
180 HP/ 76 Def/ 252 SpD
Iron Barbs
- Leech Seed
- Substitute
- Magnet Rise
- Gravity
Ferrothorn is your typical super bulk super setup pokemon. It uses Gravity first, so that Gastrodon can hit everything with earthquake. But the turn that Gastrodon does, Ferrothorn uses Magnet Rise and escapes. Ferrothorn also has Leech Seed, which can lead to a super regenerating Gastrodon or longer survival for Cresselia. Ferrothorn also has substitute for a reason. Rocky Helmet + Iron barbs + Leech Seed = Easy to wear down even the strongest walls. This combination makes it so that we take out 37.5% of their HP. That's F**king awesome. And we still gain a bit of health due to the Leech Seed. In a Ferrothorn and Blissey combination, Ferrothorn could kill off an entire team. But we all know Blissey will die first.

Anyways, give me some suggestions on how I should enhance my team. I am already aware of the threats that go against my team, such as taunt tyranitar and stuff like that. If you find any other set up teams that could completely counter my team, please post in the comments so I can adapt my team to it. Also, if you have any suggestions for changes in my team, please post too. I am happy to read through all of your comments.
