View Full Version : The Creation Pokemon Are Actually Good: Another Uber Team of Dragonite's

When they announced they would be doing a Shiny Creation Trio GameStop event a few weeks ago, I though it might be fun to build an Uber team around them.

Hey, it's better than using all 3 members of the Weather Trio. Right?

I already know that I have two Spin blockers and 4 Lefties, btw.

The Core

What is this. @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Spacial Rend
- Surf
- Thunder
- Flamethrower

The Special nuke. I don't think I have to explain. Spacial Rend wrecks stuff. The rest wreck stuff, too.

Plural of Dice @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Bulk Up
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Brick Break

The physical nuke. I know I'm wasting 150 whole points of Special Attack, but I don't like Dialga's Special side as much as I do Palkia's (looking at you, Roar of Time). Therefore, Bulk Up bulks up the also-usable physical Attack/nerfs Earthquake, and Outrage, Earthquake and Stone Edge maim, level and mash stuff, respectively (often even without the Bulk Up).

La Spunga @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 220 Def / 40 SDef
Careful Nature
- Roar
- Will-O-Wisp
- Sleep Talk
- Rest

I tried doing a triple-status/Roar thing, but trolling with ResTalk is usually better so I decided to just stay with Will-o-Wisp. There's nothing Groudon likes better than using Earthquake, seeing it do like 25% and then getting burned. This thing is probably the safest thing to switch in on anything (especially Rapid Spin) with, hence its nickname.

OU Uber @ Spooky Plate
Trait: Multitype
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 Def
Jolly Nature
- Brick Break
- Shadow Claw
- Swords Dance
- ExtremeSpeed

I think Arceus is technically a member of the Creation Trio, since he/she/it/they made them in the first place, but not sure.

Anyway, your standard EKiller here. Swords Dance is . . . Swords Dance, ExtremeSpeed is for fast stuff, Brick Break and Shadow Claw combine for some lovely coverage.

It's Ghost so I can switch in on Close Combats and the like, as well as do a little spinblocking, but I also wish there was room for Recover.

Auxiliary

ZweiTales @ Light Clay
Trait: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Serious Nature
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Morning Sun
- Hidden Power [Fire]

I really need to stop with the German-Tales nicknames.

The auto-Dark Void thing is back, just as annoying as before. People have an annoying habit of getting crits on me right after I set up the screens, but that's not scientifically proven so I'll leave the screens there for now. Morning Sun is because I finally put Light Clay over Leftovers and I like this thing to be able to stay alive (though Kyogre run around like dandelions, so its usefulness is debatable.) HP Fire is so I can deal switch in on Ferrothorn and Forretress, reflect the hazards and kill them (should usually result in an OHKO, or at least do enough for them to care, even in the rain). Oh, and it works for Scizor and Skarmory also.

Annoyance @ Leftovers
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SDef / 8 Def
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave
- Curse
- Iron Head

If there's anything Giratina doesn't want to switch in on (Latias who I suspect has a Specs and Draco Meteor, for example) Registeel can do it with no problem. This is the same thing as the Registeel I've been using on Showdown since the dawn of time. Thunder Wave, Stealth Rock, and the Curse/Iron Head thing. With 438 points of Special Defense, Kyogre needs a Choice Specs to even think about OHKO'ing it with Water Spout at full health in the rain. So most of the time I am able to get a paralysis + Stealth Rock up whenever needed.

Haven't been able to do any paraflinching in Uber recently, though :/

Wait what? Espeon isn't.

Arceus-Ghost: Shadow Force > Shadow Claw normally, but it looks like this is a GTS team so I don't think you'll be able to use the much better Ghost-type move...
Palkia: Fire Blast > Flamethrower. I like your set, though.
Espeon: Psychic > HP Fire

Espeon doesn't do good with Soft Sand, does it?

That, and it's too easy for someone to switch into their Ferrothorn and take like 3 damage from Shadow Force.

Palkia: Fire Blast > Flamethrower. I like your set, though.

If something isn't weak to Flamethrower, in which case they'll take loads of damage anyway, I'd rather use Spacial Rend. Because Fire Blast is one of those moves with 85% accuracy that misses 70% of the time.

Espeon: Psychic > HP Fire

The idea is to switch in on a Leech Seed from a Ferrothorn and wreck it with an unexpected HP Fire. Same for Scizor and, to a lesser extent, Skarmory.

What.
