Personally, I don't think this will happen. If it does, it will probably take them a long time. The idea is alright, but there hasn't been really any news other than the fact that they were planning on making this.

So, in other words, I doubt they're going to build much on this game at this point.

What boggles my mind, is how the **** FE characters traveled into OUR world in modern times. Also, does this mean that I'm going to see Marth use demons to battle? Anything goes. Everything is so vague, that it is just teasing me to know what the **** happened .

Or is this some kind of religious war between FE and SMT? Side with God? What about Naga? Why don't we just steal the falchion and release demons to destroy both franchises. This is obviously my biggest mind****. Any thoughts?

So it's been nearly two years since this was announced and we still have absolutely nothing to show for it. Does anyone have new information or is this probably dead?

There was an update where they said it was still in the middle of development, but they couldn't say anymore, so the project is still a go. Whether it's shelved or not is unknown.

The newest update was that it is on schedule. Nintendo likes to be very secretive. Remember when Yoshi Yarn was cancelled? I expect it to be shown in a direct this month or next month. If not, then at E3.
