Games based off Movies

I thought of this after talking about the new TMNT game coming out for the 3DS and it's based off of the new movie that is coming out in August. What is your personal opinion on games that are based off of movies? I personally think that most of them are really boring and not really that good. The only game that I did like that was based off of a movie was Spider-Man 2 for the Gamecube.

I've seen a couple of them but most of them that I've played turn out boring to me.
I think Spiderman had a game that was great but I can't remember which one.

Most of them suck, but some are good.
I like the amazing spiderman game, not the 2nd one though.

Almost every game based off of a movie is an absolute atrocity.
Almost.

I have played a couple of decent ones, like Shrek games from the PS2 and Over The Hedge and Barnyard for GBA (which, for me, are both ridiculously fun).
