So I'm home alone for the week and am therefore in charge of making sure I eat anything ever, which means I'm going to be doing a lot of cooking over the next few days. Which made me wonder, what about you all? I know a bunch of you are still in your mid teen years and probably don't really have to worry about that, but do you cook anything anyway? And if so, what? And do you have any suggestions for what I should do with that second pound of ground beef I have that didn't go into yesterday's pasta?

Put the beef in a taco maybe? Idk. I suck at cooking. Without a set of instructions I can make Ramen and grilled cheese. If I don't do that I basically have to do something packaged with a set of instructions. My dad constantly makes me feel bad because he was the oldest in his family so he had to cook for them when his parents were at work.

My mom is an awesome cook that I usually don't have to do anything but I've been taught a few things. I make killer tacos and enchilidas. I also cook breakfast for myself usually on days off so eggs and bacon usually come in handy, although I love using chorizo as well :P

Well, every wednesday, I grill burgers or brats for the fam. Sometimes, I try to make a pasta to add something more to the wednesday grilling. I've been grilling a steak every friday for myself because tuna helper is terrible. For the times there is eggs in the house, I make scrambled eggs. I sometimes bake cookies, wether it be for my own self or for international food day at school. A couple times, I've made pork lo mein which is really good. I've also made some fried chicken. I will exclude everything I made in my cooking classes I took at school, mostly cause I made it with other people and I don't remember everything. That's just about it from me.

I can make things when they come with instructions! Of course, anybody can but anyways, I'd guess maybe make spaghetti with that ground beef as the meatballs or burgers or something. The only thing that I've made that's been homemade was soup one time during the winter because it is delicious and no I will not tell you the ingredients.

The only foods I can actually cook are eggs and noodles. I should really learn how to make my own rice though.

Truth. I'm kind of ashamed that I don't know how to do that yet.
I literally can't cook anything besides microwave stuff, and that's honestly kind of sad. :\

But thanks to my sister, I do know how to bake some mean cookies. >.>

Also, I can cook better scrambled eggs than XpL.

I can cook most basic things like pasta, rice, any frozen packaged item, and eggs. I definitely have some degree of knowledge about cooking from excessive watching of the Food Network, but I lack much of the technical skill or knowledge of flavors that comes with actually being a good cook.

However, I feel as if I'm pretty able to follow recipes. If I have all the instructions it isn't as if I'm going to stand there in panic unsure how to flip over a piece of meat or something. This especially goes for baking, which is the only thing in the kitchen I feel pretty confident about.

Honestly I don't know how to cook anything (except for microwavable stuff, and let's face it, that's dumb). I've been taught to try and make a few things, but when it comes time to actually make the dishes, it always doesn't turn out too well. For that reason the house is chock full of snack stuff and that I have to actually wait until my mom or dad (it's rare) gets here and makes something for me. (I basically don't ever eat lunch unless I have enough money to go out and get some fast food or go to the grocery store.)

i can make a mean bowl of ramen

but fr i know how to cook, i can cook plenty of things on my own if i actually feel like doing it >.>
honestly though i'm not creative at all with my cooking and usually need a recipe, i'm not one of those people who can throw anything in a pot and make it taste good ;-;
i enjoy making pastas the most because it's my fave, but i usually only make it for myself. i'm really good at misjudging how much i'll need to make for multiple people. :/

My dad has always been the best cook in the family. I have never been the type to cook because I am pretty bad at it and believe me when I say this, the most complicated thing that I can make (and taste good) is a grilled cheese sandwich. lol

I can cook basic things like scrambled eggs, sunny-side up eggs, deviled eggs, salmon (yuck), etc.

I'm much better at baking, though. I like baking cakes, cookies, brownies, waffles/pancakes, etc.

I like to try my hand at cooking, especially desserts and foreign foods, but I can't say I'm better at it than the average layman.

And also Dragonite try making Dangos (https://www.youtube.com/watch?)
they're pretty good if you can get the recipe down

I'm pretty good at coming up with dishes on the fly, depending on what's in the refrigerator. Most of what I do is stir-fry, which generally goes something like this: I cut up the vegetables that I've chosen into chunks, and put those in the pan, and let those cook. Then, I take the vegetables out, add the meat, and let that cook. Then, I throw the veggies back into the pan, and add seasonings or soy sauce. Simple, fast, and edible. I also know how to cook spaghetti, gyoza (from scratch), curry, three-cup chicken, and all this other stuff. I don't rely too much on recipes, and just play it by tongue.

I usually use a microwave, but I can also make a decent sandwich, soup, smoothie, or burger.

The only things I can cook are pancakes, grilled cheese, ramen, and pizza rolls. But I can make stuff if all I have to do is put it in the oven. I'm doomed when I move out. @~@
