So this is the sequel to Noragami, a series that I very much enjoyed. I like how the 1st episode already pretty much set up the season's plot. I'm sure there's more to add but I thought the 1st episode was pretty great for a 1st episode. I hope we get more of Yato going full on rage mode like during the fight with the other god of calamity in the season 1 finale.

So I'm one of those people who read the manga after I finished the first season. I don't remember much from chapter 11, which is about where this second season starts, so I can't really gauge whether they did a good job being faithful to the manga. I can't really go back and read it right now either since I'm typing this right before CCE starts.

I'm gonna edit this later because of that, but I will say: the guy that Hiyori passes in the intro? Screw that guy so much.

Also I thought I'd mention, the opening is AWESOME!

Almost as good as Noragami's opening, and that's saying a lot.

I am honestly so hype for the next episode, you don't even know. I saw the preview for the next episode and went "YES GOD DANG IT YES" even though it may not happen next episode BUT IT GONNA HAPPEN SOMETIME

Also the Yatori shipping is so real. As kind of creepy as it is when you think about it.

So yeah, this escalated quickly. Watching Yato being badass even without his regalia is fun to watch.

Watching Yukine's new friend die SO QUICKLY hurt, and the worst part is that he didn't even try to fight back. ;~; I got more feels from this one episode than from all of Charlotte.

I'm gonna take a guess and say that memory and being remembered is gonna be the major theme of this season.
Yato fighting is always fun to see, and the animation is pretty darn good.
