Ok so I am kind of new to competitive battling, and I mostly battle on pokemon online and I got this team by adding what I think seems best. Helpful criticism needed please.

To get this team I really only looked up statistics on pokemon online and grabbed pokemon I though would fit well together. Whimsicott for an annoying lead, garchomp as physical sweep, reuniclus + gengar as special sweeper, and gengar works as a nice spin blocker as well. Chansey as a special wall and ferrothorn for another wall. I used to have Blissey instead of Chansey but someone told me eviolite chansey worked better so I switched. Also is having ferrothorn and whimsicott on the same team kind of pointless?

Again, helpful criticism please :p

Thank you for sticking to the rules.
Maybe Stealth Rock over Spikes could help.

Which one should I replace?

You don't need to change them. If you fear a fire type move, just switch to Chansey.

I agree. There isn't a need to change them if you are fearing a Fire type move. That's what Chansey is for ^^

You have a pretty solid team here. Like TAO suggesting, I would recommend Stealth Rocks over Spikes, unless you want to use both by replacing Protect with Stealth Rocks. I've seen this dual entry hazard set several times.

Maybe add Frillish, you are Fire weak.
Take out Whimiscott, and maybe get a diff lead.

I could probably just add an air balloon heatran to switch into fire, since jellicent would basically be doing what my chansey is.

if you really think you r fire weak, jellicent is an amazing pokemon. in fact, his typing is AMAZING water and ghost. also, he has a good movepool and great stats. and @awsome1, there are plenty of SR'rs out there, but ery few spikers. thus, with a poke like ferrathorn, i would stick with the mudkipz i mean spikes.

also, fblast over ffang on garchomp. the only purpose for a fire type move is pretty much for skarmory. and fireblast will hit skarm MUCH harder than blast will. this is because even though a negative natures and no ev, fireblast has double power and hits skarmory's great defense stat rather than his pitiful spD. if you don't beleive me, i WILL prove this with calcs. but i don't want to unless i have to because i am feeling laziy atm.

and i should know considering on teh garchompmaster lol.

So, about Jellicent. Have anyone compared Jellicent and Ferrothorn's synergy? They have complete Synergy.
Jellicent=Weak to Grass, Electric, Ghost, Dark. Resists below.
Ferrothorn=Resist all of the above. Weak to Fire, Fighting.

Just saying.

AND

@Garchompmaster- Please type properly. I knows it readable, but it pisses off a lot of people (Like me) when they read texts like that. It makes us think you are trying to act cool.

@Cloundnine. I am by no means trying to act cool (in fact, i am the most un-cool person that has ever existed). I am just really lazy. But sorry, i will try to incorporate better grammar into my rates.

@Cloudnine Having original teams has its downfall. They are easy to predict and every one has counters for them. I have made counters myself, like banded ninjask and max speed herocross. Being unique has a lot of good things that come with it. Like other players not knowing its move set, or pulling out a move the other player didn't know it could learn. Hidden power has two very common types. Fire and Ice. Everyone are in great demand for them. My durant got taken out by a gyarados with a fire jewled flame thrower. All I'm saying is to not be so original and come up with some of your own ideas.

My mind..it has been blown.

You do realize original means coming up with it yourself....right? But other than that I do agree with you. Some person was like "lol who runs an offensive gliscor" on PO the other day because I was sweeping him with it. >_> I don't understand some people. My gliscor isn't the SD set either btw.

This is already known, but yes. Ferrothorn and Jellicent is the new SkarmBliss of Gen V. There are a bunch of Pokemon that have good synergy together. For example, Whimsicott has excellent Synergy when paired with Chandelure, especially with Flash Fire.

maybe a fire/water type should replace whimsicott

CloudNine

That's right, Fire Blast over Fire Fang would be better on A Chomp. It kills Skarmories. Just make sure you change the nature and EVs accordingly.

i think that maybe you should change some pokes that are a bit more unpredictable
for example everyone knows what sat ferothorn runs its always the same so typically people can predict your moves and take you down

but what do you think a heatmor is good at? ita not used to often so people may be confused when they see it.

im only saying this because this is pretty much a typical team seen nowadays so people are ovbiously going to have counters for close to every sungle one of your pokes

Ehh to be honest I've dumped this team and I have about 5+ other teams

I've gotten a bit better at competitive battling and realized whimsicott isn't really that hard to kill.

Well, if you don't use the team at all, then you have to ask for it to be locked (I think)
