Subbing Calm Minder @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 130 HP / 252 Spd / 128 SDef
Nature: Timid
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power Fighting/Thunderbolt
- Calm Mind
- Substitute

Mismagius delivers a giant "**** you ******" to Blissey. With Substitute, immunity to Seismic Toss, and high Special Defense, Blissey cannot do anything to Mismagius. Furthermore, it deals well with other special walls with HP Fighting, doing a good amount of damage to Tyranitar and Heatran, though Tyranitar is a major threat with STAB Dark moves. Thunderbolt helps deal with roaring bulky waters such as Vaporeon and Suicune.

This set absolutely loves having Toxic Spikes on the field, and does it's part by being able to block Rapid Spin.

Perish Trap @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 56 Def / 200 SDef
Nature: Calm
- Perish Song
- Mean Look
- Protect
- Substitute/Taunt

A very good Perish Trapper, Mismagius has decent defensive stats and good speed. The last move is up to you - Substitute allows you to avoid damage for more turns, Taunt stops phazers such as Skarmory.

Status/Anti-Lead @ Leftovers/Lum Berry
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Timid
EVs: 140 HP / 252 Spd / 116 SAtk
- Will-O-Wisp
- Thunder Wave
- Shadow Ball
- Substitute

Basically, this abuses status. Substitute blocks the common lead sleep (use Lum Berry to block Hypnosis from Gengar and OHKO back with Shadow Ball), then status the switch.

Choice Specs @ Choice Specs
ability: levitate
evs: 252 spe/ 252 sp.atk/ 6 hp
anture: timid
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power Fighting
- Thunderbolt
- Energy Ball / Destiny Bond

This set can be a nasty suprirse to those roares that switch in, vapy is 2hkoed by tbolt, energy ball easily kos swampert, while thunderbolt yet again kos skarmory, shadowball is for nice stab and coverage, while hp fighint is for a not too bad 3hko on snorlax, if you're not too afraid of swampert which is 2hkoed by shadow ball, you can always run destiny bond if you know that you're gonna get kod to take your opponent with you, this beast can take 1-2 pokes in one game.

Bulky Cow @ Leftovers
ability: Levitate
evs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe
nature: Calm
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power Fighting
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split

Not much comment on here, shadow ball and hp fighting for unresisted coverage, this is one heck of a spin blocker as i say, all the common spinners are gonna be owned by this set, starmie only 3hkoes missy with surf while missy 2hkoes and can recover off the damage via pain split, after tyranytar switches in on a wow it won't be able to ko with crunch even if it's cbed, while you 2hko with hp fighting and outspeed it since with no speed evs it reaches 245 speed outspeeding adament loom and even jolly ttar.

Some other non common spinners like claydol, blastoise and cloyster are also going to getting owned, and that needs no explanation as why they will get owned.

Annoyance @ Leftovers
ability: levitate
evs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe
nature: Calm
Gender: Female
- Thunder Wave
- Attract
- Confuse Ray
- Shadow Ball

This is one heck of a gimmicky and annoying set, basically paralyse the opposition, how slow it might be just paralyse it for some hax, then attract it, after that confuse it and pray that the 8% chance of the opposition attacking you doesn't happen, then once everything is set up start using your stab moves.

This set should be used late game when a lot of entry hazards have been set up, from there you can stall the hell out of your opponent, since this causes a lot of switches stealth rock's are well used with this set, spikes are too, althought toxic spikes aren't welcome since you need to paralyse your opponent to increase the chance of the opposition not attacking you, so toxic spikes shouldn't be used with this set.

Other Options: Destiny Bond is an option on just about any ghost. But other than that, Mismagius's options are limited.

Opinion: Ridiculously underrated. Mismagius absolutely rips through slow stall teams, especially with Toxic Spikes support. Blissey can't touch it once it gets a Sub up, and it can 2HKO at +6 with HP Fighting. It's also the best 1-pokemon Perish Trapper in the game (as opposed to combos like Chaosbreon) and its status moveset is a good utility set for the current metagame.

Counters: Tyranitar starts sand to mess up its setup and beats any Mismagius without Hidden Power Fighting. It hates getting burned or paralyzed however. Weavile does okay, but again fears status.

Snorlax is the best counter there is in my opinion; it hits hard enough to stop Mismagius from setting up, can Rest off status, and can hit it hard when it tries to run.

A defensive Heatran or Swampert can Roar it out even if it carries HP Fighting (unless it has multiple CMs) Skarmory actually doesn't do badlyif it doesn't have Thunderbolt.
