Defensive
Hariyama @ Leftovers
Abilty: Thick Fat
Ev's: 76 HP / 180 Atk / 252 Def
Nature: Impish
- Ice Punch
- Knock off
- Force Palm / Close Combat
- whirlwind

Knock off is a great move to have on something that can take a hit or 2 like Hariyama. Force Palm Is great move to have for the paralysis. Close combat is good for power and accuracy but is the defence drop worth it though. Ice punch is there to hit those dragons and gliscor which would wall you other wise. Whirlwind is great to use if you've got stealthrock/spikes up.

Sleep talk
Hariyama @ Leftovers

- Sleep Talk
- Cross Chop / Force Palm
- Ice Punch / Whirlwind

This set has some advantages over machamp who use this set. Rest is to heal up. Then start to sleep talk. It is a bit more power, less accuracy and higher crit chance. Were as force palm has more chance to paralysis. With the last 2 it is what you preffer. Whirlwind is good for residual damage. Were as Ice punch is good for the things that wall you.

Choice Band
Hariyama @ Choice Band

Ev's: 252 Atk / 88 Def / 168 Spe
Nature: Adament
- Close Combat
- Ice Punch
- Thunder Punch / Stone Edge
- Payback

Hariyama is slow and a good user of a choice band. Close combat is suggested as this set goal is to hit and run. You can ko most ghost, pyschics and leave dents in dusknoir and cress. Thunder Punch and stone edge is whether you like power verses accuracy. Thes speed evs given are so you can outrun skarmory and pursuid to 2 hit ko with close combat.

Sub Punch
Hariyama @ Leftovers
Abilty: Thick Fat
Ev's: 76 HP / 252 Atk / 180 Def
Nature: Adament
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Ice Punch
- Thunder Punch / Payback

Sub Punching works well on Hariyama because its slow and it encourages ghosts and pyschics to come in so then you can payback with 100 power. Dusknoir can't even Break Its subs with shadow sneak or elemental punches.

Belly Drum

Ev's 76 HP / 252 Atk / 180 Def
Nature: Adament
- Belly Drum
- Bullet Punch
- Force Palm/ Cross Chop/ Close Combat
- Stone Edge

This set is about getting up a belly drum and start bullet punching. Stealth rock would be good if it is layed down to get rid of sashes. The last 2 moves is for coveridge. Stone edge is for flyers. The fighting move is steel/rocks that would wall you otherwise. Cross chop would be the favorible option because it can crit. Force palm has a chance to paralysis, and close combat lowers your deffence.

Fake Out Lead
Hariyama @ Flame Orb / Toxic Orb
Ability: Guts
EV's: 4HP / 252 Atk. / 252 Spd.
Nature: Adamant
- Fake Out
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Bullet Punch

After Fake Out Guts Close Combat usually KO's Bronzong but it's not 100%. It could also prevent most lead sleepers. (Yanmega, Bronzong But not Crobat (Due to Inner Focus.) or Gengar (As he is immune to Fake Out). Bullet punch is so you can pick weakened stuff off. Stone edge so you can atleast do something to flyers. Credit goes to tsp for this set


other options
Bullet punch and Fake out are an option but they lack stab. With the bulkier set he can last s sword danced garchomp outrage and deal a counter back to it. Arm thrust is only Useful for sub Tyranitar and Walrein.

Opinion
Hariyama is a slow, strong, high Hp pokemon with machamp being closest to it. It is one of the best tyranitar counters in the game. If defencive hes got thick fat abilty and knock off and whirlind.

Counters
Cress can through up a light screen. Uxie and mespirit also work as the same thing. Dusknoir can painsplit and will-O-wisp thick fat versions. Celibii can leech seed, psyschic and last ice punches and paybacks.
