mew, the cutest poke ever yet the most destructive, it can run any set, you name for it, any. if species clause was off it would run rampant, rampant I say...

specs mew
Mew @ Choice Specs
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 40 HP/218 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)

- Thunder/surf[/color]/grass knot
- Shadow Ball/focus blast/dark pulse(if you prefer to hit slightly harder)/dragon pulse
- Ice Beam/blizzrd(on uber hail teams if you decide to use him on that)
- Flamethrower/overheat/fire blast

This will be really hard to choose moves from since mew has access to almost every move in the game, a specs set might be fit for mewtwo but mew has a lot more options and unpredictability, which mewtwo doesn't have.

The 40 hp evs allow you to survive a specs mewtwo's shadow ball while you can hit it back with yours almost koing it, speed evs aren't needed much since 100 base speed pokes are very rare in ubers and 218 outruns Rayquaza before a Dragon Dance, the sp.atk evs are just to help to hit harder.

The 3 fire move's allow you to not get walled by the rare steels in ubers, it's your choice for moves, over heat deals a lot of damage but lower's your sp.atk, fire blast has low pp and accuracy and with pressure even lower but it hit's more than 2 consecutive overheat's, and flamethrower if you like it's high pp and accuracy. Ice beam allows you to kill rayquaza, making mew a decent counter since it can switch in on the sd and the opponent thinks he can outspeed since most mew's are support only to be struck by a specs-boosted ice beam. Blizzard is for if you like to use mew on an uber hail team, if you ever decide to make an uber hail team...

Focus blast for darkrai, dark pules if u prefer the flinch rate over the sp.def drop and it's power to ko a mewtwo if it take's little amounts of damage befor hand, and dragon pulse for a move that is only resisted by one type, thunder hit's kyogre insanely hard, and surf is just to do a lot of damage under the rain, and grass knot to hit both kyogre and groudon hard.

CB mew
Mew @ Choice Band
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 40 HP/252 Atk/218 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

- Fire Punch/ice punch/thunder punch/water fall/
- Explosion
- Stone Edge/earth quake/body slam/
- u turn/x-scizor/shadow claw/dragon claw/brick break

You have 15 options, and Ibet there's more that I didn't list since his move pool is just huge, it gives excellent type coverage and pretty much nothing can switch in safely, the evs are like the specs set but instead of the sp.atk evs they're in attack, obviously.

Fire punch to hit those annoying steels, and it does a little more than overheat since there is CB boosting fire punch, ice punch for the annoying ray and to hit lugia and giratina hard as well, thunder punch to hit kyogre for an almost guaranteed ko, and water fall just to abuse the common rain, explode when your low on health, stone edge to hit lugia even harder and 2hkoing if it switches on rocks.

And earth quake to put a huge dent in dialga, body slam if you prefer the paralysis, u turn to flee with out taking much damage, x-scissor to dent psychics more than shadow claw can but shadow claw provides the high crit rate, dragon claw for a unresisted move for all pokemon except for steels and provides good type coverage, brick break to ko darkrai who thinks he can switch in freely.

stat booster v1
Mew @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/18 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

- Bulk Up
- Roost
- Substitute
- Dragon Claw

A very nice set, since dragon is only resisted by steels that should be your only concern when using this set, this is like dragon arceus but this has a lot more survivability, 252 hp so seismic toss users like blissey don't break your subs, roost or soft boiled are both the same, but roost is preferred if you're playing in the game since it's easier to get it on mew than softboiled, but they both heal 50% and since mew is not a flying type it's like healing normally so they are both the same, sub to protect you from status and so youu can bulk up safely.

stat booster v2
Mew @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP/96 Atk/86Sp.def/76 def
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Sword Dance
- Roost
- Substitute
- Dragon Claw

This is the same as the above set, but this shouldn't be listed as an option for the above set since it's completely different, after a sd even lugia takes 50% damage and even 75% if sr are down, this set looses bulkiness from BU but gains much more power, which is why there are a lot of evs in sp.def and defence, to somewhat regain the usefulness of BU.

sd full attacking mew
Mew @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 240 HP/100 Atk/90Sp.def/80 def
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Sword Dance
- fire punch/ice punch/thunder punch/waterfall/shadow claw/x-scizor/brick break/Stone Edge
- Dragon Claw/return/earth quake/body slam/

Here's the twist, you can sd whilst having 3 attacks for greater type coverage, the choice is yours here, fire punch to hit those annoying steels, ice punch for the annoying ray and to hit lugia and giratina hard as well, thunder punch to hit kyogre for an almost guarenteed ko, and waterfall just to abuse the common rain, stone edge to hit lugia even harder and 2hkoing if it switches on rocks, return for a nice normal move, and earth quake to put a huge dent in dialga, body slam if you prefer the paralysis rather than the power that return provides, x-scissor to dent psychics more than shadow claw can but shadow claw provides the high crit rate, dragon claw for an unresisted move for all pokemon except for steels and provides good type coverage, brick break to ko darkrai who thinks he can switch in freely.

a nping mewtwo
Mew @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP/96 SAtk/84 Sp.def/76 def
Jolly nature (+SAtk -atk)
- nasty plot
- Roost
- Substitute
- Dragon pulse

This is like the sd set but special, basically this can ko a forretress after +6 sp.atk with dragon pulse instead of the dragon claw that does nothing to fortress while he explodes in your face, basically this is better to hit the bulky steels but suffers from not hitting the ubers on their week physical side instead on their marvellous sp.def one.

a CM ing mew
Mew @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronise
EVs: 252 HP/96 SAtk/162 def
Jolly nature (+SAtk -atk)
- calm mind
- Roost
- Substitute
- Dragon pulse

Same as the BU v SD set, but now you can sacrifice some sp.def evs for some def evs to be able to survive ray's unboosted outrage and other strong physical assaults.

nping full attacking mew
Mew @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP/96 SAtk/84Sp.def/76 def
Jolly nature (+SAtk -atk)
- nasty plot
- focus blast/dark pulse(if you prefer to hit slightly harder)/dragon pulse
- Ice Beam/blizzrdon uber hail teams if you decide to use him on that
- Dragon pulse/Thunder/surf/grass knot/Shadow Ball/Flamethrower/overheat/fire blast

Basically like the sd three attack set, the 3 fire move's allow you to not get walled by the rare steels in ubers, it's your choice for moves, over heat deals a lot of damage but lower's your sp.atk, fire blast has low pp and with pressure even lower but it hit's more than 2 consecutive overheat's watch for the low accuracy though, and flamethrower if you like it's high pp and accuracy. Ice beam allows you
to kill rayquaza, making mew a decent counter since it can switch in on the sd and the opponent thinks he can outspeed since most mew's are support only to be struck by a Nasty Plotted ice beam. Blizzard is for if you like to use mew on an uber hail team, if you ever decide to make an uber hail team...

Focus blast for darkrai, dark pules if u prefer the flinch rate over the sp.def drop and it's power to ko a mewtwo if it take's little amounts of damage before hand, and dragon pulse for a move that is only resisted by one type, thunder hit's kyogre insanely hard, surf is just to do a lot of damage under the rain, grass knot to hit both kyogre and groudon hard and np further assist's the damage as it double's mew's sp.atk stat.

support mew
Mew @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 240 HP/100 SDEF/170 def
Jolly nature (+SAtk -atk)
- stealth rock/reflect/light screen
- Roost
- will o wisp/toxic
- Dragon pulse

Basically a support mew. Toxic if you like to win stall wars or WoW to criple groudon, walls, and rayaquaza. Dragon pulse is so taunt doesn't kill you. Roost to heal of some damage. Entry hazard's if your team is in need of that or the screens depending on how your team is able to take hits

anti lead mew
Mew @Lum berry
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP/96 atk/162 def
adament nature (+atk -sp.atk)
- taunt
- stealth rock
- explosion/Thunder
- hypnosis

One of the best anti leads in the game, taunt dakrai's dark void while you wake up thanks to lum berry, then he is forced to dark pulse you while u hypnosis, then you lay stealth rocks and then explode, basically a suicide lead in the uber metagame, but it is the best at doing what it does with this set and it's being a suicidal lead, thanks to hypnosis which further boost's it's suiciding ability. Thunder is just there if you think you can survive Kyogre's Scarf Water Spout and want to punish it a bit, Modest nature and Attack EV's transfered to SpAtt would be necessary if you take that option.

sub roost mew
Mew @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP/96 SDEF/162 def
Jolly/adamnet nature (+SAtk -atk)/(+atk -SAtk)
- substitude
- roost
- toxic
- thunder/focus blast/dark pulse(if you prefer to hit slightly harder)/dragon pulse/Ice Beam/blizzrd/(on uber hail teams if you decide to use him on that)/surf/grassknot/ShadowBall/Flamethrower/overheat/fire blast/fire punch/ice punch/thunder punch/waterfall/shadow clawx-scizor/brick break/Stone Edge/Dragon Claw/return/earth quake/body slam/

Like sub roost toxic stall zapy in ou, the last slot is just rofl, you have 26 move's to choose from in the last slot, choose whatever you want. It just comes down to personal preference, just start by subbing up, roosting then toxic-ing. Too bad mew doesn't have pressure, but this set can work as it wins almost every stall war, the hp evs so your sub's aren't broken by stoss, and the def and sp.def evs just so u can survive even more strong hit's coming off the amazing stat's of the uber pokemon.

Scarf Anti-Lead Mew [Added by Ikke]
Mew @ Choice scarf
Ability: Syncronize
EV Spread: 6hp/252atk/252spe
Jolly Nature (+Spe, -Sp.atk)
Hypnosis
Explosion
Ice Punch
U-Turn

This Mew is a great antilead for in the uber metagame. A U-Turn Easily 2HKO's Darkrai and does 40% to any mewtwo. Mew is faster than any deoxys without 493 speed, which im pretty sure no deoxys in the world would carry. u turn is obviously a OHKO. Scarf Mew can outspeed any raquaza after a DD and OHKO's it back with Ice Punch. Dialga/Kyogre leads give mew trouble, You could just Hypnosis but then you could get stuck later in game with a pursuiter trapping you which wont happen if you could just hypnosis them. Explosion will OHKO almost everything in the uber metagame exluding groundon, steels and Ghosts. Lugia get's OHKO"d by Explosion AFTER stealthrock damage

Other Options: there are too many, there are 11 set's listed now but ther's still a lot more, mew can run like 72 set's that are viable in the uber metagame, some of them are crap but still, the options go on and on, this kitty can learn all tm's and hm's, and a lot of move tutor move's so the options can't be listed in even 1000 years

Opinion:]arguably the most powerful of all pokemon and the most unpredicatable after smeargle, this poke is capable of defeating every single uber/ou/bl/uu/nu/nfe/lc poke in existance, he can even defeat arceus bug/ghost/dark by hypnotising it as it attacks, nping/sding and then killing it with the appropraite attack, and the rest of the arceus type's can easely be defeated, pretty much it can defeat every poke 1 v 1, definately should be considered on an uber team for it's ability to make the opponent guess what set it's running and even if it has seen 3 moves it still can't switch something in safely, obviously one of the most powerful and the cutest pokemon ever.
