Beedrill:

Summary:

Most Used Beedrill Set:

Beedrill usually uses strategies that involve the use of the Item Focus Sash to allow it to have the needed longevity. Habitually, it should also use the Swords Dance set since it allows it to boost its mediocre Attack stat.

Usual Counters:

Metagross, Steelix, Bronzong, Muk, Weezing etc. can all handle anything Beedrill throws at them and retaliate in an appropriate way. Stealth Rock destroys most of Beedrill’s strategies since many involve Focus Sash.

Types of Teams Beedrill Is Used On:

Usually found on some Under Used Bug mono-type teams or even some offensive Under Used teams if someone is crazy enough to use it there. Beedrill does not have a niche it can say it has to itself and therefore, lacks reason to use over many of its similar bug brethren.

In Depth:

Ability: Swarm
EVs: 252 Spe / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Nature: Jolly (+Spe, -SpA)

- X Scissor
- Brick Break
- Return / Posion Jab / Aerial Ace / Pursuit / Endeavor
- Swords Dance

Probably the best Beedrill setup. Max Speed is essential as this set needs to outrun a lot of stuff. Basically, all you need to do is find the right time to Swords Dance and sweep. Focus Sash gives Beedrill the much more needed longetivity. X-Scissor + Swords Dance + STAB + Swarm = A lot of damage. Third move is filler. Aerial Ace would be a good choice because it kills Heracross and Breloom. Pursuit is a great choice if you can predict well. Endeavor works well with Focus Sash and Poison Jab is Beedrill’s only STAB. Return is just there for the decent coverage it gets with the other moves, and Brick Break can be used for Steel-types who can cause a lot of trouble to Beedrill.

Ability: Swarm
EVs: 252 Spe / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Nature: Jolly (+Spe, -SpA)

- U-turn
- Brick Break
- Return / Posion Jab / Aerial Ace / X-Scissor / Pursuit
- Return / Posion Jab / Aerial Ace / X-Scissor / Pursuit

This Beedrill build wields excellent coverage. U-turn is for scouting and it’s the soul of this set, while Brick Break can help you dent some Steel-type counters. The last moves are filler, X-Scissor and Pursuit should be your primary choices as they form excellent coverage with the other moves, but Aerial Ace can be considered for Heracross and Breloom while Poison Jab can be considered if you’re that desperate for STAB, but you generally shouldn’t use it as it has poor type coverage.

Ability: Swarm
EVs: 252 Spe / 252 HP / 4 SpD
Nature: Jolly (+Spe, -Atk)

- X-Scissor / Endeavor
- Brick Break
- Substitute / Swagger
- Toxic Spikes

This set is pure novelty. Set up Substitute since it protects you from status then try to set up as many layers of Toxic Spikes as you can. Max Speed is needed to setup as quickly as possible. Brick Break is to dent Steel-types who are immune to Toxic Spikes. X-Scissor is for STAB. Swagger could be used to make your opponent confused, thus lowering his chances of attacking making you have an easier time setting up Toxic Spikes.

Ability: Swarm
EVs: 252 Spe / 252 HP / 4 SpD
Nature: Jolly (+Spe, -Atk)

- X-Scissor
- Agility
- Substitute / Swords Dance
- Baton Pass

Start the battle by using Agility, then Baton Pass the Speed boost to a tough but slow Physical sweeper that is in need of the boost. Swords Dance is an option on this set if you’re willing to Baton Pass an Attack boost to one of your teammates, but it’s generally discouraged because of Beedrill’s fragility.

Other Options:

Pin Missile and Twineedle can break Substitutes but are outclassed by X-Scissor most of the time. Other than that, there isn't anymore notable options unless you want to use a more gimmick Beedrill set.

Opinion:

In my opinion one of the nicest Under Used Pokémon I’ve ever used...It has a lot of sweeping potential with the right support and can inflict a lot of damage in the Under Used environment.

Grammar wise this is fine.
I corrected minor spelling errors that no one would ever notice unless they put it through spell check.
