Most Used Set:
Wormadam-S is mainly seen using a support set. With solid defenses and moves like Stealth Rock and Toxic, he can be a solid supporter.
Usual Counters:
Wormadam-S can't really do much to Steel types like Steelix or Registeel, even with Hidden Power Fighting. Mr. Mime, Electrode, and Exploud all have respectable Special Defense, and are immune to Metal Sound due to their Soundproof ability, so they can all handle the Metal Sound set. Wormadam-S also has a huge weakness to Fire, so anything faster with a Fire move can easily dispose of him. Being that its only recovery move is Rest, he should easily be taken care of.
Types of Teams Pokemon Is Used In:
Wormadam-S could be a good addition to many NU teams. The Supporter should be used a balanced team. The Metal Sound set pairs very well with stall teams and teams with entry hazzards, as sharply lowering a foe's Special Defense will cause many switches.

This set gives Wormadam-S the role of a supporter. Stealth Rock is always a great move, and with his good typing and decent defenses, he should get it up easy. Gyro Ball is a high powered STAB attack. Sassy nature lowers speed to power it up. 0 Speed IVs are also recommended. Toxic is another good move to use to build up residual damage. Protect is for scouting, as well as building up Toxic damage. Wormadam-S's ability, Anticipation, helps it scout if the opponent has a strong Fire attack, and Protect can do that as well to a further extent.

Wormadam-S may not have the most favorable Special Attack stat, but it works, especially with Metal Sound. Metal Sound lowers the opponent's Special Defense 2 stages, meaning you will be hitting after even after just one use. This set is best used when entry hazzards are set on the field, as Metal Sound will cause many switches. Shadow Ball and Hidden Power Fighting get great coverage, but Psychic can be used over Shadow Ball just because of the extra power. The EVs give it as much power and survivability as possible.
Other Options:
Safeguard is a good support option to keep ur team safe from status. Mirror Shot is usable, although Flash Cannon's higher power and accuracy make Mirror Shot outclassed. Hidden Power can be used to get rid of a specific threat. Rest and Sleep talk can be used if you want recovery other than Leftovers. Psych Up can be used with Swagger to get an attack boost, and Attract can be used to annoy your opponents more. Sunny Day and Rain Dance are usable, while Rain Dance decreases Fire moves by 50% so it can possibly survive a hit from a Fire attack. Sucker Punch can be used if you want something to hit Ghost types, as well as having priority.
Opinion:
Wormadam-S can be useful at times, but its normally outclassed. If you like having originality, he's definately a good candidate. The other Steel types of UU usually do better, but Wormadam-S is still usable.
