Overview
Last generation, Kingdra was a great wallbreaker in the OU enviroment. It could use Rain Dance to double its speed with and then use it's mixed capabilites to good use. With its STAB boosted by the rain Waterfall and Hydro Pump, and the amazing dragon Draco Meteor or Outrage, which gives Kingdra near-perfect neutral coverage (with the excption of Empoleon, which could be beaten easily with team support). You could also use Kingdra's good natural bulk into good use with the Dragon Dance Chesto-Resto set. Now, the fifth generation has come. Kingdra has gotten a huge blessing from the unknown lands of the Dream World. Politoed got Drizzle, which is basically permament rain. What this basically means is that Kingdra will always have double speed, as long as rain is up. This is an insane boost for Kingdra, making it one of the fastest threats on the metagame. This lets it counter a lot of the metagame. This also means that you'll not be wasting a move slot on Rain Dance, which opens the path for more possibilities, like Substitute. Some people called it broken, some people thought that it was ok, because without rain, Kingdra is basically nearly worthless in OU. Then in suspect vote 3, it was time for the public to decide. One user called Aldaron decided on a proposal where we could vote on. The proposal was to ban swift swim users (including Kingdra) and Drizzle Politoed in the same team. Finally, the proposal got super-majority and that was banned. Now, Kingdra had HUGE problems in OU, especially against one Pokemon which seemed to be in 50% of the teams at that time; Ferrothorn. After a few weeks, Kingdra fell down in usage drastically and fell into UU. Now, Kingdra basically has the same the role as in Gen 4 OU, but now Kingdra is more of an anti-metagame Pokemon because of the abundacy of hail teams and to a certain extent Sand in UU. In the UU enviroment, Kingdra is a great wall-breaker which can tear apart unprepared teams.

Set Comments
Kingdra can still make good use of Dragon Dance this generation. This is possible because of Kingdra's decent bulk and offensive stats, its lack of many weaknesses, and its dual combination of Water and Dragon moves, which hit nearly every Pokemon for neutral damage, of course barring the common Ferrothorn. Waterfall and Outrage are Kingdra's best physical moves, so they are obviously the best attacking options for this set. Substitute is recommended for the fourth slot, so that Kingdra can set up on various Pokemon, like Politoed, Heatran, and Starmie. A special move can also be used here to hit some physically defensive Pokemon hard. Hydro Pump (with the EV spread in other options) can 2HKO physically defensive Skarmory, and can also work well against other Pokemon with high defensive stats, like Forretress and Donphan. Draco Meteor can also be slotted into the last slot, as it is still a powerful base 140 stabbed attack, even without much EV investment. Draco Meteor can also be a valuable alternative to Outrage, as it doesn't lock Kingdra into battle like Outrage does.
Additional Comments
If a special move is used for the last slot, then a spread of 252 Atk, 216 Spe, and 40 SpA EVs, along with a Naughty nature, could be used instead of the first EV spread. This spread has just enough speed to outpace Adamant Dragonite, and it makes Kingdra's special attacks slightly more powerful. For that kind of set, a Life Orb is recommended, so that Kingdra can deal as much damage as possible. Also, Kingdra would likely be setting up agaisnt special attackers, like Heatran and Starmie, so a Lonely nature is recommended, so that Kingdra cna sponge the special hits better. For the Dragon Dance set with Substitute in the last slot, Leftovers is recommended, so then Kingdra wouldn't lose as much HP from using Substitute. Lum Berry can also be used on this set, so that Kingdra can get a free boost while the opposing Pokemon tries to use a status move.

Set Comments
This set utilizes Kingdra's great sweeping capabilities into great use. With it's double speed boosted by rain, and it's very powerful STAB rain-boosted STAB Hydro Pump, it can really tear apart teams if all of Kingdra's counters are removed. It also can attack in both sides of the spectrum, meaning that Kingdra also acts as a wallbreaker, which consists of killing the opponents walls with it's powerful attacks. Plus, since Draco Meteor and Hydro Pump get incredible neutral coverage (except Empoleon) you don't have to worry of a wall resisting your move (plus, Water STAB is an incredible STAB in the UU environment). Waterfall is to make sure that Kingdra also hits in the physical spectrum to beat special walls, like Chansey or Registeel.
Additional Comments
The EV's and Nature are very simple, the regular sweeping EV's. We put 84 EV's into attack to 2HKO Chansey with LO. For the nature, if you want to at least speed tie with opposing Kingdra, go for the Naive nature, but if you need some more Special power, go for the Rash nature. As for the item, you could either use Life orb, in order to do much more damage but at the cost of a recoil, or you could use Lum Berry, just for those pesky Thunder Wave users like Chansey, Registeel, Slowbro or Deoxys-S.

Basics are done. Taking this very slowly, this and next weeks are evaluation weeks for my year group on school plus I stil need the Mother 3 review to work on.

Are you sure a special sweeper set is viable? Kingdra has a very avergish Special Attack, not even breaking into three digits. You should probably be abusing Draco Meteor for the sheer power of STAB moves to make up for a mediocre Special Attack (not to mention Speed). Even with that in mind, Hydreigon or Sazando gets more Speed, Special Attack and a wider special movepool. You cannot even argue that movepool does not matter because of Kingdra's awesome STAB combo because of Ferrothorn or Nattorei. As of now, the rest of the sets look pretty awesome.

Omg, how could I forget draco meteor. Still i'm not sure about keeping the special sweeper set. Can you guys help me?
Yes, it's viable i believe. I haven't been playing many Gen 5 matches, so i'm not that good at it as of right now. You can also add a Choice Specs set, or slash it as an item in the All Special Set.

What coverage does Return possibly get on the mixed set?
edit:
List of pokemon that resist Dragon Water by typing or ability
Ferrothorn
Empoleon
Shedinja
You will notice they also resist Normal.
I'm helping Mike put all of the analyses in this section in the same format. To help you out, I put your analysis in the new format in the spoiler below
Also, would you mind adding credits for your sources of information?
Thanks!
Spoiler!
We are following smogons tiers, so swift swin and drizzle are banned on the same team. Remember this when making this analysis.
You're mixed set is also terrible. It should be Waterfall/Hydro Pump/Draco Meteor/Hidden Power Fighting. Of course with alderons proposal, this set is really uneffective now that drizzle + swift swim is banned
Also, kf you need help with this analysis and have no idea what to do, then why are you doing it? Not to be mean or anything, but if this is sub-par it will be redone anyway

-I am taken extra testing time to make this analysis better so expect slow work (especially since i'm crowded with homework and exams these two weeks).
@Mike: Its only a ******* analysis. Does it say something about me? NO. Yes, I know what kf means.

Mabye you could make a set that specifies its use on Smogon where you cannot use Swift Swim and drizzle and then another that specifies its use on other servers where Swift Swim and drizzle is legal. Slow work is better than no work anyways so good job.
