I'm having trouble getting NO$Zoomer to work, I have it together with NO$GBA, and for some reason neither have the "OTHERS" tab; is there something I'm missing?

I've never had issues with games running slow on DeSmuME but my PC is a beast.
DeSmuME have this similar feature, it's under Config -> Hotkey Config and you'll find "Increase Speed", "Decrease Speed", and "Limit Framerate Toggle" in there.
I have powerful PC as well (maybe not 'EXTREMELY' powerful, though, you can see my spec below) and when I run DeSmuME at 4.0000 (400%) and my PC seemed struggle with it, 2.0000 (200%) is no prob.
Maybe I am wrong about DeSmuME vs No$GBA for speed because I haven't tried No$GBA yet... All I know is that DeSmuME is a winner for compatibility and I've read other forum that it has smoother FPS with better audio than No$GBA.

Oh wow, you're right.... I never knew that was there. I guess the DeSmuME guys need to update their FAQ.
From their FAQ page:
What is the turbo button / speed up button / magic fast-forward button?
There is none. Stop asking for one, stop telling us how your gameboy emulator is able to use such a magic button to speed up the game twenty times over. Refer to the FAQ entry above this one for speedups.
High five for similar computers. I've got a 2600K@4.8GHz and a 6870 as well.

Try changing your no$zoomer language. If my memory serves me right, there's two english packs, but only one has the missing menu.

Yes, just make sure that the save file and the ROM both have the same names. You can find the save file in desmume's Battery folder.
