Dengeki Magazine Leaks!
Dengeki magazine scans have surfaced the web providing information about the early stages of the game! Big thanks goes to AAPF for the scans!
The first page describes how you go along within the beginning events of the game. You speak with your mother, your Rival and his sister. Afterwards, you go see Bianca with your Rival and you choose your starting Pokémon. After obtaining your starting Pokémon, you battle your Rival. After finishing up the battle with your Rival, you go to the Pokémon Center with Bianca and get your Running Shoes and Town Map from your Mother and your Rival's sister.
The second page introduces a new route; Route 19, which consists of only Patrat and Purrloin. It is shown that your mother is friends with Alder, Elite Four Champion in Black & White. Alder resides in Sangi Town. Shiny Patrat could be the first Pokémon you encounter while roaming through Route 19! Shiny Pokémon now have a star next to their names.
The third page also introduces a new route; Route 20. Route 20 consists of Sewaddle, Venipede, Audino, Pidove, Dunsparce, Patrat, Purrloin, and Sunkern. Your first encounter with Team Plasma also takes place on Route 20! Sangi Ranch is another new area which consists of Lillipup, Audino, Patrat, Dunsparce, Pidove, Mareep, Azurill, Psyduck, and Riolu. Gym Leader Cheren will have Patrat (Level 11) and Lillipup (Level 13). At the end of the battle, you are rewarded the TM Work up. Bianca will also give you the C-Gear after defeating Cheren, which then allows you to earn medals by doing various activities. You have to talk to a man in the Pokémon Center to receive medals.
Tachiwaki City consists of Pidove, Elekid/Magby (version exclusives), Magnemite, Audino, Growlithe, Koffing, and Patrat. Gym leader Homika has a Koffing (Level 16) and Whirlipede (Level 18), and rewards you with HM01 Cut and the TM Venoshock. TMs for Thief and Rock Smash can be obtained through NPCs in the Tachiwaki Complex. In order to access Castelia City, you'll have to go by boat.
Finally, the full map of the Unova region is shown, and it reveals that you can now see which Pokémon appear on the route by using the Town Map.
