Earlier last week, CoroCoro leaks revealed a new spin-off game for the 3DS that is expected to be released in Japanese stores this upcoming winter season. The new game is titled Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Magnagate and the Infinite Labyrinth and features full 3D game-play. Similar to past games, the player will transform into a Pokemon and will be able to complete missions. All the Unova Pokemon are available in the game.
Possible Pokemon that you can transform into are: Pikachu, Oshawott, Axew, Snivy and Tepig. The main story-line has not been revealed yet. The official Japanese Pokemon website posted several game-play screenshots and a trailer showcasing animated game-play. You can check out the trailer below. Not much is known about this game as of yet, however, more information is expected to be announced so keep checking back here at PokeStation for more updates!
Well I hope they turn down the difficulty from the previous game, for example less brutal monster houses and such. I do like difficulty, but not difficulty when it comes to luck, which is what I found wrong with the previous games.
Also, I hope they make team members more useful, as later on in the game when you get to a high enough level you can pretty much solo from then on, as it removes the baggage that is your team members, so I hope they make them more useful.
Heh, pretty clever. I wonder what else this map can do.
I liked the pixel-art style graphics of the older Mystery Dungeon games, and I think the 3D animations take away from that feel. However, I did like the 3D effects in Rumble, so perhaps my opinion will change once the game is released.
