Replace the Toads?

If I had to replace the toads then maybe Koopa Troopas or something not enemy based?

Personally, I think that they only use toads because they need something to fill in the 4 player gap and Mario + Luigi are the only surefire characters in there. I wish Nintendo would come up with other characters to use because toads are really boring, IMO.

No. These little guys need to stay because without them, Mario would always be confused when he gets to the end of a castle.

edit: okay idk how sprinting works in sm3dw because my brother said he sprinted with luigi but i couldn't
either way though i saw that toad sprinting and i didn't see luigi nor peach sprinting
