This topic came up in the Vent Thread. Do you like to use ear/headphones while doing your homework and, if so, what do you like to listen to? While I do my homework, I like to listen to either the UK Top 40 Music Chart, as there is always an easy-to-find playlist, or I'll listen to ASMR to make sure I don't get too stressed out.

I listen to metal a lot when I do work, and I do use earphones when other people are around but when I'm by myself or people who also want to listen I blast it.
Unless I'm studying for an exam, I tend to have something playing in the background. Sometimes, it's something like Two Steps from Hell, or movie/TV show soundtracks. Other times, it's whatever is on the radio. However, when I'm doing practice exams to study, I tend to do those silently.
I listen to music while doing my homework, mostly due to the fact that everyone in my house talks too much and I don't have a room all to myself anymore.
I don't listen to any particular type of music. I just go on my playlist and listen to what's on there.

I'm almost always wearing headphones everywhere I go, and if I'm not wearing them, I have them on me at least. I find it much easier to focus on something if I'm listening to music. As quiet of a person I am, I absolutely can't stand silence. I'm not exactly sure why, but I feel..nervous? I don't know how to describe it. When I'm studying for anything (pssh who does that anymore? jk pls study), I listen to music. Can't really focus without it tbh.

To be honest. I CAN'T listen to music when I engage myself in the daily process of homework. I just stop doing work and start listening to the song. So when I do work I either put on www.rainymood.com or go to a place where there is lots of background noise (examples include student union building, the loud floor of the libary etc).
However, when I am doing readings for class, I need DED SILENCE.
Also don't study, just do work daily.
I actually used http://www.coffitivity.com because it's really nice to hear while doing work. I can't listen to actual music because I'll start jamming out and not get any work done at all.

When I'm not in school, I have headphones on almost all day. I sometimes have them on when I'm not even listening to anything.
Every homework session I've had, I've listened to something.
Me, I like to go music fishing, and if I find a good song, I play it over and over and over again along with a few other songs for a few days. If I do my homework in that time, then those songs will be repeated until I find new ones later.
