I forget to turn on items again after playing with my super competitive friend, but I'm a casual.

I love all Jigglypuff matches, chaos, and Amiibo UHC.
I have claimed Totodile and Spheal on January 1st, 2013.

It depends, sometimes if we agree to go random , we just do it, but most of the time I really do play competitively especially when I try to pull off comebacks cause my mains are mains you usually don't see

I don't mind playing on any game mode, but I had a choice, I'd just pick a random stage and no items except for the smash ball.

But, no matter which settings I'm playing with, there's a 97% chance that I'll be screaming random bullcrap if I can.

I like to play competitive settings because I see the game in that light. All the people I've played Smash with have played it enough to the point they're pretty good at it, and so turning off items and selecting neutral stages is the best way to test 'skill' in that sense. That being said, there is a charm in playing the game as it was intended - a party game - , however playing Saffron City in Smash 64 is unfun, especially when some dumb bozo turns high frequency items on.

That and anyone who chooses Jungle Japes.

I used to be absolute tryhard.

Now I think competitive Smash is dumb. I don't consider going 1 on 1 in a fighting game without items any hardcore, just more fair. When I play, I tend to play by those rules. Stages does not matter to me, as long as they're not too big. That just makes it boring.

Also, the fun characters are just bad.

I'm not really competitive, I just love to completely destroy my opponent with tons of style. Now I main Ganondorf, so even if I'm losing I'll try to go for an off-stage Warlock Punch, or the Down B spike
I can't play seriously... it's just not fun to me. Items tho... those can burn in hell
