    Cooking.

So I'm home alone for the week and am therefore in charge of making sure I eat anything ever, which means I'm going to be doing a lot of cooking over the next few days. Which made me wonder, what about you all? I know a bunch of you are still in your mid teen years and probably don't really have to worry about that, but do you cook anything anyway? And if so, what? And do you have any suggestions for what I should do with that second pound of ground beef I have that didn't go into yesterday's pasta?

Put the beef in a taco maybe? Idk. I suck at cooking. Without a set of instructions I can make Ramen and grilled cheese. If I don't do that I basically have to do something packaged with a set of instructions. My dad constantly makes me feel bad because he was the oldest in his family so he had to cook for them when his parents were at work.

My mom is an awesome cook that I usually don't have to do anything but I've been taught a few things. I make killer tacos and enchilidas. I also cook breakfast for myself usually on days off so eggs and bacon usually come in handy, although I love using chorizo as well :P

Well, every wednesday, I grill burgers or brats for the fam. Sometimes, I try to make a pasta to add something more to the wednesday grilling. I've been grilling a steak every friday for myself because tuna helper is terrible. For the times there is eggs in the house, I make scrambled eggs. I sometimes bake cookies, wether it be for my own self or for international food day at school. A couple times, I've made pork lo mein which is really good. I've also made some fried chicken. I will exclude everything I made in my cooking classes I took at school, mostly cause I made it with other people and I don't remember everything. That's just about it from me.

I can make things when they come with instructions! Of course, anybody can but anyways, I'd guess maybe make spaghetti with that ground beef as the meatballs or burgers or something. The only thing that I've made that's been homemade was soup one time during the winter because it is delicious and no I will not tell you the ingredients.

The only foods I can actually cook are eggs and noodles. I should really learn how to make my own rice though.

Truth. I'm kind of ashamed that I don't know how to do that yet.
I literally can't cook anything besides microwave stuff, and that's honestly kind of sad. :\

But thanks to my sister, I do know how to bake some mean cookies. >.>

I can cook most basic things like pasta, rice, any frozen packaged item, and eggs. I definitely have some degree of knowledge about cooking from excessive watching of the Food Network, but I lack much of the technical skill or knowledge of flavors that comes with actually being a good cook.

However, I feel as if I'm pretty able to follow recipes. If I have all the instructions it isn't as if I'm going to stand there in panic unsure how to flip over a piece of meat or something. This especially goes for baking, which is the only thing in the kitchen I feel pretty confident about.
