Going to go as well as Sony trying to trademark "Let's Play" or King trademarking "Candy". It's too vague, and already in use in various other media, therefore making it impossible to trademark.

The former I heard of and just did a bunch of hand waving at because it was a hilariously transparent and uninspired attempt to shake down one of the largest locations in Internet culture, the latter . . . uh, sounds like one of Mom's weirder plots to get me to eat less junk food? ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)

Ask these questions on 4chan. They usually come up with the most insightful responses.

I do think it's really stupid to try and trademark a word like "react", but I find it disgusting that people have nothing better to do with their lives than watch the Fine Bros's subscriber number go down.

Literally, the guys who made "Candy Crush" tried to trademark the term "Candy" a few years back (despite Candy Land existing first)

as papa put it, this is "flying over your ****ing twelve year old heads"
it's pretty clear that they meant for their specific series to have the "trademark" (not the word react, not reaction videos. none of that). if even that. they want to give other small time youtubers a chance to get some recognition with a friendly platform inspired by the fine bros. what should be getting people is the monopoly aspect of it. youtube doesn't need large corporations for its good content creators to compete with (even though that would be better for youtube revenue wise (^:b).

might i add that using someone's format and calling it your own is not within fair use
