but based on loose observations, i'm pretty sure the first six were randomly pulled out of a hat and chucked at the wall
Pretty sure we went through the 7 stages of grief with the death of this forum. It fits surprisingly well:
- Shock or Disbelief
- Denial
- Anger
- Bargaining
- Guilt
- Depression
- Acceptance and Hope
"Acceptance and hope" gets me everytime
Well, how would you suggest getting out of that slump? I have a feeling if I made 10 well thought out threads right now, they would only have 1-3 responses each.
To get out of a slump u would need to have inspiration and ideas. But they might also just lack motivation to write in threads since i am almost are certain that the chat gave motivation for the users that looked at the chat.
I am not suggesting to bring the chat back since it is just my point of view and understanding of the chat.
@Derose This has been our main problem for a very long time. I direct your attention to the many attempts at gaining activity: the community Youtube channel, the SS Gym League, Forum Game Night, heck even Signature of the Week if people remember that. I don't intend to sound mean, but they've all been discontinued because we've gone through the same cycle of lots of hype when we first introduced them to very little interest. Now it's a lot worse because we've skipped the whole new factor.

(Also if it seems like I missed the point of the post, I copy pasted a post I was going to make a while back and I didn't really have time to revise.)
