Tiger Claw Felix Yang
Offense
- Pulse-Fire Gauntlets: Tiger Claw can fire bolts of flaming energy every time he punches. He can also charge up each shot to fire a larger bolt.
- Slipstream: The jets on the back of Tiger Claws activate, rushing him forward. The slipstream created by this deflects attacks targeted at him.
- Claw Strike: Tiger Claw's Pulse-Fire Gauntlets switch into "Claw Mode" which allows him to deliver devastating slashes at his opponents.
- Phoenix Mode:"Phoenix Sword!" Tiger Claw draws the Phoenix Sword (not shown), and the jets on his back create flaming "wings". In this mode, Tiger Claw will fly forward, and slash at any enemy he passes.
Backstory:
Felix Yang is the son of former Overwatch member Dr. Jing-Wei Yang (Ph.D), who created the Phoenix-Fire Suit, a prototype winged suit that suffered from spontaneously combusting at random intervals. While the idea of a winged suit would be refined to create the Valkyrie suit worn by Mercy, aka Dr. Angela Ziegler, the original Phoenix-Fire Suit was retired and disappeared, shortly after Dr. Yang retired to care for his young son. Years after the first Omnic Crisis, the Yang family lived a pleasant existence, far from the reaches of a prying media, who were looking for more and more dirt on the organization known as Overwatch.
However, the Yang family's lives would be peaceful no more, as tragedy struck. The day before Felix's college graduation, Jing-Wei Yang and his wife were found dead in their house in the Princeton suburbs, with no sign of the killer. Whilst mourning and sorting through the items left to him from his parent's will, Felix found a box with a weird armored suit-an armored suit with a peculiar set of wings and burn marks all over the body- the missing Phoenix-Fire suit! However, young Felix, even with his new-found engineering degree, had no idea what to do with the suit, and instead left it in the attic. While out with his friends, one of whom was a reformed Omnic, however, tragedy would strike Felix once again. Earlier that day, upon finding out that his parent's money would be donated to charity, and his only inheritance was the house and the things inside it, Felix's girlfriend revealed herself to be a massive gold-digger, and dumped him. Furthermore, while he and his friends were out drinking (presumably to help Felix get over his breakup), they were confronted by an anti-Omnic gang, known as the Flames. As they beat down on the Omnic among them, Felix and his human friends struggled, in vain, to protect him. As he and his friends fell, defeated by exhaustion and bruises, Felix, in his fading breaths, saw the gang members brutally crush the Omnic's head, sparks and circuitry flying everywhere.
When Felix and his friends came too, they knew they had to take on the Flames once and for all. Recalling the burnt out suit that previously belonged to Overwatch, Felix got to work taking apart and redesigning the armor, removing the spontaneous combustion problem once and for all. As they did so, Felix himself started to take time out from his day to start practicing martial arts again, relearning and polishing the Black Tiger Fist he used to train in all those years ago. Once the suit was completed, Felix donned the suit and set out to confront the Flames yet again. This time, however, using the suit's jets to modify his agility and the newly created Pulse-Fire gauntlets and claws, as well as the new Phoenix Sword, Felix emerged victorious. With the Flames now in jail, Felix turned to the news, only to find more gangs around the world committing the same anti-Omnic crimes. Vowing to rid the world of these gangs, Felix, and his newly-dubbed "Tiger Claw" suit, set out to bring hope and heroism to a world that desperately needs both.
