To be honest the new Ash in the BW series really grinds on me. I mean he seems to get more dopey as the series goes on with his Pokemon battles, Personality etc. If he were to use at least one of his previous Pokemon that he trained up in the previous series like Charizard, then he would fly through the gym battles.

It seems that in every new series he starts over again like he never trained that Charizard or Infernape? O.o And when it gets to the final league challenge he suddenly remembers that he boxed a load of trained Pokemon he accumulated over the years rofl, or in his case not even a year.

I personally wouldn't mind it if he went and a new character like "Black" (Hilbert) came into the picture. It's either that or they at least make it realistic and make Ash have a Birthday lol.

I also hate how Ash seems to get weaker as the anime goes on. Although I don't want to see him go.
