I thought that it was pretty cool because there are so many places still to visit and the trainers there are pretty tough if you don't have levelled pokemon, but it trains you to beat the elite 4... again.

I love how the story interrupts the protagonist's Pokémon journey, even up at the Pokémon League! Once the story comes to an end, you are given access to older Pokémon, pretty high-leveled trainers, and an upgraded Elite Four challenge in which you could finally challenge the Champion. Plus other features, like the ability to challenge the Sinnoh Champion, Cynthia, once a day in the Spring!
All these things just keep you playing long after the story has come to an end!

I agree, it's by FAR the best post-game story of any Gen thus far.
Not my favorite, but personally I loved the new features that weren't there in the previous generations!!
Pokemon B/W had amazing 3D graphics that made it feel god, also the cinematic were awesome.

It was very interesting yes. I never expected it to have the story go all the way up to the end like that at all. With so many new places to go after the end of the story, it does keep it going rather well. Though that sudden level jump at the end from like level 50 trainers to level 65 trainers is a shocker XD
The first time going through the game the level jump made it a bit difficult for me to advance at the speed I was hoping to because I was so shocked and unprepared. I must say this post game kept me playing far longer then I imagined. I usually just beat the pokemon league once or twice and put the game down. Its been like 3 months since it came out and im still playing it.

This gen was definitely the best in terms of the game play after the main story-line ended. There are an abundance of things to accomplish, which somewhat makes up for the very short main story.
This one's story is a tad more straight forward than some of the other games yes, since you don't have to do a lot of backtracking, but it is still good at the same time.
