Actually yes, it was the only Elite 4 I've really ever had to actually train a good number of levels for. 4th gen was easy, and I did need to do a bit of training for 5th gen but once I did was easy. So yeah LG/FR were harder Elite 4 wise

I actually think Generation 4 has the hardest and Gen 2 has the second hardest. The reason I believe that is the massive level jumps those games give you from the pokemon you are fighting right before them and then going inside. With Gen 4, if you go in at anything less than mid to low fifties, Cynthia is going to destroy you big time. In Gen 2, its sort of the same with Lance. By the time you get to the Elite 4, you are often in high 40's and low 50's and you need to grind for awhile to have a change to beat them.

Not necessarily with Cynthia. A lot of times I've beaten her with pokemon probably just barely over 50. Granted the first few playthroughs I did have trouble with her, but I guess after I knew what she had it became not as much of a challenge anymore. Other than the champions, the actually Elite 4 were a piece of cake and just good for level grinding lol

True. Usually the Elite 4's aren't that hard, but do give you a challenge. However those champions can give you trouble, since often the champion, if you haven't ground for awhile, may be ten levels higher than you.

Ive actually never gotten round to beating the FR league in my life lol. I beat both 4t gen and 5th gen first try and once I stopped being a noob and teaching Cut and Strength to my Groudon, and started using Breloom and Flygon, I beat Ruby really easily.

    Flygon is mine!

This e4 is definitely my least favorite. The highest level poke is 63 while I just beat the last gym leader at level 52, lolwut?

I actually had trouble on the 5th gen because i wasn't expecting dark, psychic, AND ghost along with fighting, But the second try was easier since i knew what was coming at me....pause....

I really liked the 5 th gen e4. They only had a few pokes each so it was really easy!

I guess it really is all a matter of opinion, since its obvious we all have different definitions of which ones are harder to each of us.
