A new forum modification has been added!

You can now tag users in your posts. For example:

The "@Tidus” Will become a link tomy profile, it will also inform me that I had been mentioned, and link to the relevant thread/post via a new area in the profile section, as well as a new tab in the shoutbox.

It also allows members to “tag” the thread for specific other members by inputting their usernames in the tag box above the posts of the thread.

Some of you have been complaining about the poll system not working, so I decided to take a look. The poll system was indeed broken, and it redirected to a random poll after a user votes. After some debugging, I have identified the cause of the problem within our vBulletin forum database. The poll system has been fixed, and any polls created from now on, should work appropriately.

I also noticed that the upload system would complain that only 5 files are allowed per post, when trying to upload a 3rd file. I have raised the MySQL packet size to 16MB and the amount of allowed files has been raised to 10 in the Admincp. Forum file uploads seem to work now.

The forums have been upgraded to version 4.2.0 Some of you may have noticed that the forums, mainsite, and DB were unavailable for an hour while I upgraded the forum software, and re-integrated the DB into our new forum. Everything is working again, and several new features are now available. First, is the activity stream which lists forum activity from all of the forum members over the past 5 days. There is now a mobile forum, which we are finalizing design details on. You can now see the members who have visited during the day. Double posts are prevented. And, you can see who has read a thread.

As you may of noticed, the main site and forums have had issues throughout the past several weeks. Thanks to Statigar, our tech admin, we have resolved the issue and our servers are now running at full speed. You can now browse the main site and forums at ease!

I would like to apologize for some recent downtime. Our entire site was offline from 7AM until 11:30AM Pacific Time this morning, due to a crashed SQL server. I've fixed the issue, and everything is working again.

Removed the Site Development Lab forum due to the lack of activity and contributions it's been attracting. (none whatsoever, actually)

Made the Questions/Suggestions/Feedback forum a main forum now.

Fixed the Thanks/Like/Dislike mod. You can thank/like each others posts, which can also give you access to attachements, post content etc, as well as encourage the thanked person to post more great content.

Your statistics are also shown on your postbit (under your avatar) showing how many thanks/likes/dislikes you have received and/or given.
