Proper Format for Analyses:

Summary:

Most Used Set:

Write a brief description of what set is used most by the Pokemon, what the set accomplishes, and why it is so effective.

Usual Counters:

Write a brief description of what Pokemon make nice counters. You can include good initial switch-ins, checks, and why the Pokemon counters it so well.

Types of Teams Pokemon Is Used In:

Basically what the title says: just write what kind of team the Pokemon is useful for (e.g. Hippowdon wouldn't be effective on Baton Pass teams, and Blissey wouldn't fit well on a fully offensive team).

Write something to begin your analysis of the set such as why it is effective or what the set can accomplish. (e.g. After a Dragon Dance, Salamence becomes a deadly threat capable of defeating teams by itself.) Next write in-depth about each move, such as what you will be hitting super effectively and if it gets STAB or not. If the Pokemon has more than one ability (such as Arcanine: Intimidate, Flash Fire) write about why one is chosen over the other. Write about what the EVs aim to do to help your Pokemon. Writing about a specific Nature is optional, but in some cases it should be written about (e.g. a Scarf Magnezone is usually Naive instead of Timid, that way, Blissey is always OHKO'd by Explosion.). Finally, write about the item choice unless it's obvious (read: Blissey with Leftovers).

Other Options:

Write about moves that are either outclassed by the moves already listed or moves that can only be used on gimmick sets.

Opinion:

Just simply write about your opinion on the Pokemon.

Mind you though no one cares if you don't have ability, Evs, ect in the exact places. Just make them organised, like having the moves all together and the name and item first. And as long as you have the needed information, no one could care less. This is only reccommended by many older Analysers. So you can have Counters, Opinion, ect at the bottom and not the top. It is only what you are more comfortable with.

Also, Stats, are really important imo. On the note of Most used sets, the first set posted is the most used set and/or the most dangerous set.

Can't you figure out that we should follow one standard format so that it looks organized? Organization comes from following one single thing, not making up your analyses judging by how you want to order them. That freedom manner is absolutely idiotic.

In addition, if you followed the site; you'd notice that James is working on the stats, and we shouldn't do them in our analyses since it will be redundant.

Iac, in all honesty, you shouldn't try and force people to use this format as standard, most people will be content with the usual format. It's ok to encourage people to use this format, but not force them. If you are willing to go to the time and effort to make analyses like that then thats your call.

You deleted my Slowking Analysis and Cp'd it and added crap sets or sets I mentioned, without even giving any credit. That's not really improvement imo. I'm not being lazy, I just don't have much TIME. And once again, lolhypo. You yourself are trying to make the "Standard Format" to your own liking. ATTN: Types Of Teams Pokémon Is Used In:

Not on, we say "I play in a Baseball team" and not "I play on a Baseball team".

If "on" is acceptable then by all means we can use it, but I think "in" is better.

Sorry but I just realized this mistake now ._. I always couldn't differentiate between "in" and "on"...and I just realized this :P. Also, when writing the paragraph, say "found in offensive teams because..." and not "found on offensive teams because...".

Sorry again ._. But I guess we should change as soon as possible.
