I went onto Smogon, and people flamed me. This person caught my eye with his repetitive insults, so i thought id talk to him. Turns out he FULLY explained why Smogon hate TU. Reasons:
- They think I can hack and that I DOS attacked Smogon to steal their members.
-They feel that my explanation was contradictory and so believe that it was all lies.
-They think that the TU admins are uncapable of doing a good job, and that the users of Teamuber are all idiots.
My final, repeated explanation:
1.) I cannot DOS attack, and did NOT intend for TU to take the load off Smogon when it was down. That was a mere coinsidence. I said that i couldnt code, but was able to build and host a server easily... that isn't a contradiction.
2.) Although my explanation did seem rather farfetched.. it wasnt. I told nothing BUT the truth, and explained the issues that had happened. However, to them, they wouldnt listen, because they had already determined a conviction, BEFORE i had a chance to explain. There was no "way out", no matter what i had said. Smogon wasnt the only site to get attacked. TU was attacked too, but they wouldnt believe me because they thought that ME being the hacker was EASIER to understand. Well i understand where they are coming from..but i cant hack, and dont really want to learn. I have better things to do with my time <_<.
3a.) We have set out rules and 99.999% of users followed them. We have over 1000 active members, and so we;re doing a great job. Nobody is perfect. Smogon have been known for their arrogant behaviour towards Serebii and Marriland. They say they "perfected" competitive battling, when truly they havent. You can never be perfect, so such an accusation is just a reason to insult us.
3b) After failing to get a win from degrading the administration, Smogon insulted the Users of TU. (TU =terrible user [according to SDS]).
The issue has become clear: 1 user spammed on Smogon, therefore we raised suspicion, and so were blamed for "hacking" "DOS Spamming the server", "stealing members", "lying", and loads of other things that Ive never even known.
Do you really think id waste my time "hacking" smogon? Please.. Smogon FAILED to realise that they had NO EVIDENCE and that their THEORY was flawed. There are plenty of other possible explanations:
-The troublesome spammer spammed smogon to get back at TU.
-Smogon made it up, and as Shoddy = Smogon, its GG.
-A hacker DOS attacked Smogon. (nothing to do with TU -__-).
There are plenty more.. but we wont go there.
Anyway, the reason why i "contacted" Colin was because he is the Creator of Shoddy. I did not contact him regarding Smogon. When TU was attacked, i asked him for help.. and sadly, they believe that i did that to cover up my "hacking".
I understand perfectly clear where smogon are coming from, but with no evidence, and no actual proof of any of the events, the most obvious reasons are: TU did it, or Smogon did it. 2 different opinions, therefore, no actual conclusion... but as Smogon = Shoddy.. they can do what they like.. and so banned us based on this false claim.
