New Formes

Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 bring us a wide variety of alternate formes for Pokémon, unlike before. Since the third generation, we started to see differences in Pokémon, whether if it was because of the weather or because of an item; many Pokémon had alternate formes. This page will display all the Pokémon these sequels have, along with the method in obtaining them.

#641 Tornadus, #642 Thundurus, #645 Landorus

The trio of Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus can now change formes! If you obtain the Reflecting Mirror item and take the Incarnate Forme Landorus to Route 7 you will be able to change it into its Therian Forme. Additionally, you have the ability to change the Incarnate Forme Trio from Pokémon Black & White into their Therian Formes. Finally, if you change the Therian Forme Trio that you obtained in the Dream Radar you will be able to unlock the Incarnate Forme Trio's hidden ability.

Black Kyurem & White Kyurem #646

The method Kyurem changes formes is unique as it completely fuses with another Pokémon. You can only obtain Black Kyurem or White Kyurem after capturing Kyurem from the Giant Chasm which is located in between Route 22 and Route 23, and obtaining the item DNA Link Pin. While using this item, you have to choose either Reshiram or Zekrom respectively.

Keldeo #647

In order to change Keldeo into it's Resolution Forme, it must know the move Secret Sword. This move can only be obtained through an event that will take place in Sangi Forest. Interestingly, Keldeo will change back to its normal forme if, however it forgets the move.

Meloetta #648

Meloetta can only change into its Pirouette Forme after obtaining it from an event. Its Pirouette Forme is unique as it has completely different stats than its Aria Forme. By taking Meloetta to a café in Castelia City, you will encounter a person who will teach it the move Relic Song which, once used in battle, will change Meloettas forme. The forme is only usable during battle, however.
