Using Houndoom in battle

Most Used Houndoom Sets: Houndoom usually runs Nasty plot, flame thrower, dark pulse and substitude, whilst using salac berry as its item.

Usual Counters: Heatran and several bulky waters can be called “counters” to houndoom.

Sets Used To Counter Its Counters: Houndoom can invest enough evs into hp and sp.def to be able to survive some bulky waters surfs thus getting 4 nasty plot boosts (one on the switch, and another when he survives the surf) and then ohko them with a +4 boosted nasty plot. .

Houndoom Is Most Used On: Offensive teams and some standard over used ones.
