Using Mesprit in battle

Most Used Mesprit Set: Mesprit is usually run as a mixed wall, with the following moves; thunderbolt, ice beam, psychic and calm mind.

Usual Counters: Pursuiters are big threats for any psychic type, and mesprit isn’t an exception. Ttar, weavile and metagross really enjoy switching into mesprit, but once they’re in they have to play mind games (they have to choose between pursuit or directly attacking it predicting that it won’t switch).

Sets Used To Counter Its Counters: Nothing really, just try to watch out for pursuiters and you’ll be fine.

Mesprit Is Most Used On: Stall or normal ou teams, mesprit really can counter a lot of top tier ou threats which is why it’s usage has been rising, not only that but it is pretty bulky and can sweep a team if given the opportunity, it also gets bolt beam which is as always, a great asset to a pokemon.
