Using Regirock in battle

Most Used Regirock Set: A set running curse, stone edge, ice punch and a filler move, this has 400+ defenses under ss, and 350+ hp, making it take hits reasonably well, not only that but it can prove to be a somewhat decent late game sweeper, since curse boosts its attack and defense to further higher levels.

Usual Counters: Regirock, being a pure rock type, meaning it has a total of 5 weaknesses, which means, even with it’s super high defenses and hp, it will not enjoy the company of said types, bulky waters to be specific, since even with the boosted defenses, they can still 2hko with their powerful super effective stab attacks, furthermore, steel types aren’t something to play around with, grass types also obviously can hurt regirock.

Sets Used To Counter Its Counters: For grass types it can run ice punch to further aid it at the purpose of countering its counters, after a curse, stone edge can 2hko these bulky waters, and with a lot of sp.def investment, you can survive 2 surfs with ease(under ss of course), whilst earth quake can prove annoying for those steel type switch ins, also, fire punch can be used for skarmory and bronzong, especially skarmory since he can also roar out all those stat boosts.

Regirock Is Most Used On: Without ss, regirock basically fails, so obviously, ss teams are the place where it resides.
