Using Yanmega in battle

Most Used Yanmega Set: A set consisting of hypnosis, bug buzz, substitude / protect / hp ice / hp ground and air slash are good moves to use and happen to be moves used on the most popular yanmega set, this set has a potential to sweep a lot of teams, so be cautious.

Usual Counters: If yanmega doesn’t carry hp ground then heatran makes a decent counter, furthermore, yanmega is also beaten by the queen of special walling, which is blissey, so be careful of that as well, regice and snorlax can also do that.

Sets Used To Counter Its Counters: Yanmega can run the gimmick and less effective reversal set, to beat all its counters, but outside of doing that, its, like I mentioned previously, gimmicky and far less effective than the special attacking set.

Yanmega Is Most Used On: Any standard ou team, you can’t really draw any conclusions once you see a yanmega, just be cautious since it’s really dangerous.
