Using Feraligatr in battle

Most Used Feraligatr Set: A dragon dance set is the most common. Feraligatr has a very high attack stat and a reasonable speed stat, making him an excellent choice if you’re looking for a physical sweeper.

Usual Counters: Celebi gives feraligatr trouble. Even if gator happens to have ice punch and life orb, it will still loose to celebi thanks to celebi being able to ohko feraligatr with a stab super effective grass knot. Tangagrowth works in the same fashion as celebi. If feraligatr doesn’t carry life orb, then a defensive zapdos can switch in easily and threaten to ohko with a stab thunder bolt.

Sets Used To Counter Its Counters: Feraligatr could run life orb, ice beam and rock slide to take care of both tangagrowth and zapdos. Now you obviously can’t do anything to celebi, unless you decide to invest a lot of special defense evs; enough to survive a grass knot from said celebi.

Feraligatr Is Most Used On: Any offensive team looking for a semi decent sweeper.
