Using Glaceon in battle

Most Used Glaceon Set: A choice specs set is truly devastating, hence why it’s extremely used. Since it’s high special attack and good defenses mean that it can actually hurt something while maintaining bulk.

Usual Counters: Heatran can easily switch in on shadow ball, ice beam and basically any of glaceon’s move, barring hp ground or hp fighting, of course. Infernape can do the same but is frail meaning it won’t enjoy taking repeated hits from specs ice beam. Bulky waters such as suicune can also be a pain for glaceon. A bulky ttar can take more than 3 specs ice beams and kill glaceon with pursuit if it decides to switch or kill it with stone edge if it doesn’t.

Sets Used To Counter Its Counters: Really, glaceon’s movepool is nothing spectacular; its options are really limited so nothing “unpredictable” can be used to deal with some counters. Although, you can use hp fighting or hp ground on the specs set to deal with some counters. Hp ground can be used if you’re scared of heatran and infernape, while hp fighting can also be used to still hurt heatran whilst scoring a ohko on both ttar and weavile.

Glaceon Is Most Used On: Hail teams since with hail its blizzard becomes 100% accurate which is really a huge plus.
