Using Gliscor in battle

Most Used Gliscor Set: Gliscor is usually used as a physical wall, and as such, it should have the following set; roost, stealth rock /knock off, ice fang and earth quake. This set can pretty much wall a lot of physical sweepers, the most notable being Heracross. Also gliscor serves as a decent stealth rocks set upper, and it also has access to a very nice health restoring move which further aids it at recovering the damage dealt from the physical sweeper it’s walling.

Usual Counters: Gyara just loves switching in gliscor, since it’s unaffected by earth quake, takes about 12% from ice fang (factoring intimidate), and basically sets up dragon dance making gliscor set up fodder for it. Also, basically any special attacker with access to an ice move can be called a “counter” to gliscor, although, physical ice users might not ohko gliscor with a physical ice move!

Sets Used To Counter Its Counters: Sword dance gliscor can ohko gyarados if rocks are up with a +1 (factoring intimidate) stone edge. Also any special ice type user won’t enjoy switching into a predicted stone edge.

Gliscor Is Most Used On: Stall teams who are looking for a good stealth rocks set upper.
