Using Magmortar in battle

Most Used Magmortar Set: Magmortar usually uses a scarf set, using hp ice, flame thrower, thunder bolt and focus blast as his 4 moves.

Usual Counters: Bulky waters can make good counters since they can basically switch on any move magmortar carries not named thunder bolt. Heatran also enjoys switching into a flame thrower grabbing that flash fire boost, but it should be careful of focus blast.

Sets Used To Counter Its Counters: Magmortar runs thunder bolt and focus blast, for bulky waters and heatran, respectively.

Magmortar Is Most Used On: Any team that is in need of a good anti-lead. You also might find some magmortars on some variants of offensive teams.
