Using Registeel in battle

Most Used Registeel Set: The “tank” set is one of the most popular sets in today’s current metagame, registeel can basically counter tons of pokes, registeel’s attacking stats aren’t that bad either, so you can use that at your advantage, registeel also serves as one of the best shaymin-s counters in the game, since it has clear body to make it immune to the sp.def drops coming from seed flare, furthermore, a specs modest earth power fails to 2hko, while you can ice punch for the kill.

Usual Counters: Anything that has a fire, fighting or ground move, and is resistant to registeel’s attacks serves as a decent counter.

Sets Used To Counter Its Counters: Earth quake can be used for fire types, like heatran and infernape, you can’t really do anything to fighting types but use a ghost on your team to aid you, you can run ice punch for ground types, but you won’t be hurting much since most ground types are bulky and won’t mind an ice punch from such an average attack stat compared to their astronomical hp and defense stats.

Registeel Is Most Used On: Any team that has a glaring shaymin-s weakness, shaymin-s can basically sweep numerous teams, and if you’re too worried about that, then why not use a registeel to further aid you.
